Everything was good. I think it's best accomodation in last year, since we started to travel in this region of Germany. Apartment very clean, kitchen equipped with everything that you need for cooking, especially if you travel with kids. Comfortable parking lot near accomodation. Apartment has excellent location - max 1-2 hours trip to all interesting locations. Rico very helpful, we are received all information about facilities around apartment. Aldi and Edeka 6 minutes drive from the apartment. 150 meter on the main street located bakery with very tasty bread, and Vietnamese restaurant (take away only) not expensive, good food quality and big portions. Ready to come back to Rico on next trip to this region of Germany.

Very quiet and next to an old church and a wonderful hike through the forest. The food was an unexpected surprise - an outstanding chef who made incredible meals. We initially were worried about where we would eat, but had every meal at the hotel.

Second stay here and we intend to return again! Same as last the staff were great, friendly , welcoming and accommodating. The food was fantastic and we really enjoyed the local wine which we bought, it was only 9 euro a bottle which can be pitched from the hotel, highly recommended.

    Straubenhardt itself offers a few walking trails and a good sun set point near the apartment. Its located about 20 minutes from Autobahn 3 / 5 and famous black forest road B500. In all, well connected for exploring the northern and middle Black forest region. Additionally one could make day trips to Strassburg which is about 90 minutes by car.
