Tangermuende has lots to offer.
Tangermuende has lots to offer. The historic downtown is super cute and quaint. There are many restaurants, cafes, ice cream places, and stores to shop. The harbor invites for a stroll. You can go on a boat ride on the river Elbe or eat Greek food on a boat. If you have a car, which we recommend, there are lots of places to drive to and visit. The area offers many concerts and/or other cultural events. We listened to an organ concert in the church. And we went to the thermal bath in Bad Wilsnack.Guest review byAnnie

The location is fantastic: very close to everything: the city centre, major sightseeing attractions, and the river Elbe. The rooms are large, cosy, and impeccably clean, with comfy beds. Great breakfast; staff were all helpful, welcoming, and kind. I especially enjoyed the on-site museum and the many beautiful old plates displayed in the hallways - with wonderful memories of the past.
