The restaurant serves a very good breakfast with all what you may need of food and drinks. The dinner in the evening is high quality and somewhat expensive - but fully worth the price. It is a place you want to visit again.

Staff were courteous, helpful and spoke English well; we had a great dinner with the recommendation from the front desk. We didn't take advantage of the breakfast, but perhaps we will next time since all else turned out to be excellent. We did appreciate the coffee and tea facilities downstairs. They watched our bags for a few hours while we toured more of Flensburg before leaving on the train.

The facilities are top notch, but what stands out is the staff. Universally friendly and going out of their way to be helpful. The button for the large flush in our room was hanging a little, so we told reception. First response was an offer for another room. We simply suggested that they had a look at it and next morning the maintenance guy changed the whole flush plate and all was in order. The staff in the lobby bar also went out of their way to provide us with precisely what we wanted. The hotel is placed at the bottom of the Flensburg harbour and the main shopping street is half a block away. Great restaurants in the neighborhood, and the hotel breakfast was excellent. We will certainly be back.

Great accommodation. Central to Flensburg and Gluecksburg. Handy to main North-South motorway (but not too close: Quiet!!). Favourites: Gluecksburg, beaches, promenade, ferry trip to Flensburg. Several good restaurants in Glueckburg. Also good Italian restaurant in Wees.

The hotel was very clean and the beds were comfortable.

The hotel was very clean and the beds were comfortable. For us (a family of four), there was plenty of space, just as described. The surroundings were very quiet, and Glücksburg Castle was within walking distance. Breakfast offered a wide selection, and the staff were very friendly.

We have known Gasthaus Hansen for several years and keep coming back to Ulstrup near Glücksburg. The surroundings are very quiet and peaceful, with only birdsong and the rustling of trees. Due to construction work directly in front of the hotel,...

Due to construction work directly in front of the hotel, there was no parking, making unloading the car very unpleasant and involving carrying suitcases a long way. However, the guesthouse owners cannot be held responsible for this. Another drawback was the lack of pillows and mattresses. On the positive side, the breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and the hosts were friendly. The proximity to the Baltic Sea and Flensburg was also a big plus.

Always drive to Flensborg and get our Mazda serviced at Master Ehrich in Kauslunde Now in 15 years the savings compared to DK pays for the adventure trip. First time we have stayed at Hansens but NOT THE LAST. It was SO GOOD Kind regards Kirsten and Erik from Ganløse in DK

Quiet and clean place. Very good place to stay and base to start daily trips. It was not a hotel room but a small, fully equiped flat with own patio. There is a dedicated space to secure your bike. 3 km to nearest Lidl and Aldi. I will come back.
