the hotel is great, exactly like one of the little gems that you dream about finding when you travel. it is a small family hotel, run by the son and the mother. i loved the custom breakfast, i loved the room, everything was very clean and functional. the scenery outside my window was of the romantic backyard & garden with a nut tree that was having gorgeous yellow autumn leaves. it was great, everything about this place was much better than expected.

The breakfast was excellent. The owners will make scrambled egg for guests on request. The breakfast room is spacious and comfortable. The hotel is only a short walk from the town centre. The rooms are modern and well equipped. I will stay again.

    I travelled to willich to visit family and couldn't believe my luck in finding this gem which was only a 5 minute walk away. The apartment has everything you could possibly need and more including a work area and spacious balcony. The Kitchen was very well equipped and the complimentary tea, coffee, bottled water, snacks, milk and beer were a lovely bonus after a long journey. Bathroom was excellent as was the lovely comfortable bed. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Will definitely visit again.

    Beautiful, large and comfortable rooms and truly delicious breakfasts. Parking is free and convenient. But this was operating as a B and B, not as the relaxed country house hotel we expected from the photos and description. Some staff members were doing their best to meet customer needs despite the constraints and demands of back to back catering for huge groups of partygoers. But mostly they just ignored us in their haste to set up for the next event.
