Very interesting place in a really nicely redone old industrial oil mill, with some rough edges remaining. Very nicely decorated and comfortable room and superb massive sauna on the top floor (free to use for hotel guests). Good facilities for cyclists and excellent breakfast buffet. Also a nice restaurant but quite busy: we could only get a table relatively late.

Lovely welcoming host. Room was spacious and clean and very comfortable.Loved the old style hotel.Great breakfast with lots of choice. We were travelling by bicycles and were given a secure place to store them.

A pleasant apartment, accessible via very steep stairs. The apartment had more or less everything we needed. We stayed for one night, but we could easily imagine a longer stay. Parking was safe and easy on the street in front of the apartment. Although the street is paved with cobblestones, the area is so quiet that nighttime traffic did not disturb us. I greatly appreciated the supply of board games available.

Friendly hosts and very helpful. Nice furnishings with everything that you need Lovely and clean. Has a pretty courtyard with pleasant seating area, and we loved the artwork on the walls. Secure storage for bikes.

We visited the Elbland Festival.

We visited the Elbland Festival. Both the Old Oil Mill and the adjacent Elbe meadows are definitely worth a visit. The town center offers numerous shopping and dining options. Currently, you should allow extra time for the journey to Wittenberge, as there is a large construction site near the Elbe bridge just before the town.

It was a lovingly furnished home, equipped with everything one could need. It was also very tastefully decorated; everything was there, including a fully equipped kitchen! From the outside, we were a bit shocked, but... then we saw the rooms: simply wonderful, thank you! Highly recommended!

The town is located on the Elbe Cycle Path, and we were hoping it would be worth making a detour. In my opinion, this wasn't necessary; we didn't see any particularly attractive spots.

Wittenberge is a very beautiful, small town.

Wittenberge is a very beautiful, small town. The Singer/Veritas clock tower and the town museum are definitely worth a visit if you're interested in history. Architecturally, Wittenberge still has many buildings from the Wilhelminian and Art Nouveau periods. The banks of the Elbe River are also very beautiful.

In summer, it's certainly a beautiful setting in a small town...there are lovely spots, but sometimes time seems to have stood still...we were there for a great concert...The concert hall has been beautifully modernized...the old style remains, but it's very clean...simply lovely.

Wittenberge is a charming town – beautifully situated on the Elbe River. It's a great place for walks, enjoying the peace and quiet, and perhaps treating yourself to a spa or a meal at the excellent restaurant in the Old Oil Mill.

The hotel was very close to the train station and a big shop, and because it was located in the inner city, we quickly reached everything that we required. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The apartment was clean and big. Overall, it was a great stay.
