Had two wonderful days in this lovely hotel. The room was very comfortable and had a nice view. Calm, cozy, and perfectly located in the medieval district, with a forest nearby for walks. The breakfast was great, and the owner was the nicest person, he even helped us when our car wouldn’t start. Highly recommended!

The whole property is a charm. Very nice house, good outdoor space (grilling and campfire or even putting on tent), nice location, and with parking lot. Everything you need for cooking, entertainment, or just having fun (board games and bikes) are available.

You are given a unit to yourself, which is basically a double story house. There is a TV and kitchen and 2 bathrooms. The shower and bathtub were both quite fancy with various settings and great water pressure. The windows all had the automatic outside blinds which assisted in keeping the room dark and at a good temperature. It was also close to city centre, which was great as we walked everywhere.

This hotel has been redecorated / refurbished recently, everything is so clean, so tastefully furnished, shower fantastic, bed comfortable. I arrived a little later than check-in due to DB trains putting me 2 hours behind schedule, but that was n9 problem for the staff. I didn't eat in the restaurant because I was too tired but the menu looked very good value. There is a cheap on-site sauna. Beer garden. The breakfast is one of the best I've had in ages with so much choice and the server is just too good and too happy for that time of the morning! I stayed in 2 rooms and the quality was consistent. The hotel is less than 10 minutes walk from DB and HSB teain stations.

To our surprise, Zilly turned out to be a charming little place that actually has quite a lot to offer. This moated castle, situated on the idyllic village pond, the biker workshop with the world record-breaking motorcycle powered by a tank engine, and so on.
