Location is close to nature, and easy to get by bicycle from frederiksværk and Frederikssund. The hosts, Hanna and family were friendly and very available, and made sure I was comfortable. The WiFi was excellent for my remote work. Lovely room, very bright and quiet, with views to the garden in each direction, but also with privacy, so It almost feels like you are in a separate house. The shower was better than my own shower at home.

The hotel is a jewel with its beautiful salons, garden and terrace. Every morning, a nice lady and the owner of the hotel would welcome us and suggest to us where to go. The location is perfect to get to different beaches and towns nearby. There is also an excellent danish restaurant in the hotel. The room was bigger than other hotels, with two tables and a couch.

Frederiksværk (town) is quick and easy to drive to, - there are nice parking options (free) right in the city center. The pedestrian street is what it is - there is room for improvement. But sights and coziness in abundance. Everything relaxing and no-stress.

Well-known place for 30 years.

Well-known place for 30 years. Several well-stocked grocery stores and nice little eateries. Train station in the center, swimming pool and nice park area. Easy to walk around. Large playground for smaller children. Many cottages to rent in the area too.

I see the development in the city center of Frederiksværk as...

I see the development in the city center of Frederiksværk as very positive, nice to walk around previously closed areas! Came here often 40 years ago. Fun to see old names like Heros Frederiksværk and others on Syrevej! The family party at Arresøen and the boat trip with Frederikke was also a fantastic experience! The atmosphere out there was good for all of us from 5 to 76 years old!

A cottage in the middle of a wood, next to a nature reserve...

A cottage in the middle of a wood, next to a nature reserve where you can see lots of animals, dunes, and the sea... all this without being too far from Copenhagen, Gilleleje (a charming fishing port with a lovely square lighthouse accessible at the end of a pleasant walk along the sea), and Frederiksborg Castle.

Newly renovated apartments with a nice design and all the required facilities. Located in the city's pedestrian street, surroundwd by cafés, shops, bars and restaurants. Frederiksværk is a cosy little town with bridges, water, and beautiful nature. The check in and out procedure is done automatically and is very straightforward. Free parking available at the site. Strongly recommended!
