Everything was just wonderful. The location is lovely and so are the owners. It's so peaceful and quiet and so nice to be surrounded by all these animals they have. The kids had an amazing time. Breakfast was beyond great too; they made sure there were vegetarian and vegan options (as requested), and they were just excellent!

The location of Hyrdeskolen is absolutely beautiful, with woods and vast green fields around. It's peacefully and quiet. One of the room's windows is facing South where beautiful sunsets can be seen but it's better to go outside. There is a space to sit outside with your morning coffee or at any time of the day. The room is simple but it's clean with two comfortable armchairs, there is a fridge, kettle and a Tchibo coffee machine, which I much appreciated. It's a lovely touch to facilitate a good coffee machine with a nice coffee in the room, so you can have a morning brew before you go on with your day. The owners are kind, thoughtful and friendly people. We could also see dogs in training, which was very interesting. When we are back in Denmark, we will be looking to stay in Hyrdeskolen again. P.S. The only thing that I was missing was some kind of clothes storage, for example, a simple rail with few hangers in the room/ wall hooks to hang some clothing from the briefcase. Easy to get to from the highway (a bit away from it) Super clean. Kitchen where you could prepare a decent size meal. Very nice SMS communication instead of going to the reception. Door with electronic keypad instead of keys. Free Netflix :)

    The hosts were fantastic—super friendly and kind. The kids got to feed the rabbits and goats, and they loved the natural setting. The fridge was stocked with essentials like milk, butter, and eggs. Every morning, we had croissants—there was no other option, which was fine since we already bought everything else we wanted to eat. It's good to know, though, since breakfast is included and that can mean different things in a hotel setting.
