We had a spare day, and not knowing this part of Denmark, decided to visit. Lovely vistas from the hotel, (like being on safari) with cattle roaming on the marsh towards the beach. Super quiet, lovely friendly efficient staff, excellent dinner and breakfast. Perfect.

The room was very quiet and located a little outside of town with parking in front of the room. The beds were comfy and we had a good nights sleep during our travels to Sweden. We will definitely stay here again if we are traveling by car to Sweden again.

The peaceful and welcoming environment, the silence at night that gave us the best sleep. Was the perfect overnight stay on our travel from Mons Klint to Copenhagen. The hostess Helle has a passion for rare animals and that was a delight to all of us! The place is super clean!

It was great. You share the house with the family that lives there. It was really comfortable and nicely decorated. At your stay the family was away themselves, so unfortunatly we cpuldn't meet them.

I traveled by train from Copenhagen to do a 3 day hike. Koge was such a pleasant surprise - gorgeous architecture, good little hotel close to the market square, lots of amenities (shops/restaurants). Took a bus from train station (get your bus and train tickets in a 7 Eleven) to furthest point to hike to Stevens Klimt. Had to return there that night to connect onto another train to Mons Island - amazing hiking spot! Koge is not a touristy town so really nice to see the Danes doing their market shopping on a saturday morning too. Great restaurants too.

Köge is a small village with about 40,000 inhabitants with an old town center. Several lovely restaurants and not least the old pub, Hugo.s cellar which was excavated 60 years ago. Braunstein whiskey distillery the best in Denmark, small cozy eatery by the harbor Can recommend a few nights here

Lovely, charming town with an old, well-kept town centre, nice cafes and restaurants and excellent shopping, especially near the market square. Both Køge Museum and KØS are worth a visit. Køge is well situated with beach and forest nearby.

We only stayed one night in Køge, because of a party.

We only stayed one night in Køge, because of a party. So we haven't been around the city. But we have visited the city at other times, it was cozy and there are good shopping opportunities, the city is highly recommended for visiting guests, even with several nights.

Nice little town with large parts of preserved old buildings...

Nice little town with large parts of preserved old buildings in the center. Good shopping and selection of restaurants. Beaches adjacent to the town. Recommend a visit to Stevns Klint south of Köge.

it was generally a messy experience. the shower system...

it was generally a messy experience. the shower system worked lousy. the sleeping part inside the living room didn't seem particularly smart. the sitting facilities outside were some old junk, the garden and surroundings looked like a dump, there was no promised parking option, all in all not a place I would come back to

The hotel has all what you can expect from a 4 star hotel. Very quiete during the nights, good beds and linen. An easy walk to to the coast shore (beach). Hotel located next to Køge Miniby, a small-scale park of ancient Køge town. Free parking just outside the entrance. The breakfast buffet was good. We did not try the restaurant or bar. We noticed ample outdoor seatings for days with nice weather. We have stayed in the hotel before and we not hesitate to come back.

The room was very good, clean and comfortable. Despite being on a main street, it was very quiet. The plentiful snacks and drinks were a bonus. There are several places to grab a breakfast nearby, being close to the town centre, as also there are restaurants. Communication with the hotel was very good - though it was odd never to see any staff at all during our stay. An e-hotel, perhaps?
