It is an amazing location. Cosy and nice place. We were in a black building with wonderful view on glade. Silence (comparing with a Copenhagen), tranquility, atmosphere, space!!! A special impression - art objects. They are everywhere.

It was easy to find and instructions were provided clearly. The host was very responsive and helpful with all of our questions. The rooms were cozy, kitchen had everything you need. Also very close to supermarket and restaurants, as well to the beach.

Excellent location, just minutes from the Louisiana Museum...

Excellent location, just minutes from the Louisiana Museum and less than half an hour from Copenhagen. Pleasant walks to the dock and beaches. The hotel is also close to Helsingor Castle. The hotel, nestled in a sculpture park, a perfect spot for morning strolls, met our every need.

We are a mature couple who appreciated a lovely quiet area.

We are a mature couple who appreciated a lovely quiet area. Nice harbor environment. Easy access to trains to Helsingør and Copenhagen. Neat and tidy in the places we visited on our 8 day holiday. We used our stay in Rungsted as a starting point for many types of museums to the north and south. Trains from Rungsted to Copenhagen every 15 minutes make it easy to get to Tivoli and other attractions in the Copenhagen area.

The photos on the booking site are misleading and mask many shortcomings. We simply expected more and were unfortunately disappointed. The breakfast was great. The rooms and everything else, like the beach, etc., really need an overhaul.

Close to Copenhagen and the Louisiana Art Museum.

Close to Copenhagen and the Louisiana Art Museum. It's surrounded by nature and peacefully outside the city. There are plenty of parking spaces, a charming marina with restaurants and shops, and a pleasant evening for dinner and drinks. Enjoy swimming and relaxing on the beach.

Lovely harbor, but we didn't get to see much of it - partly...

Lovely harbor, but we didn't get to see much of it - partly because of the cold wind. The nearby Rungsted Kro serves excellent food. The Karen Blixen Museum, Rungstedlund, is right next door, and we had chosen this accommodation based on this, among other things.

Great location with the lovely harbor and relatively close to Bakken and Cirkusrevyen and other nice places. Lovely restaurant especially the beautiful environment on the harbor. And Rungstedgaard is a nice place to stay.

A wonderful historic hotel with character; a lot of rooms and shared spaces (bar, poolroom, various seating areas); the restaurant/ breakfast room had a lot of windows with a seaview: the grounds are very large with a lot of greenery, a wood area and a sculpture park; there are a lot of rooms (perfect for conferences, weddings etc); very good breakfast, very helpful and friendly staff and the environment is stunning, especially in summer (and the Karen Blixen museum is next door). I highly recommend it.

This hotel has the perfect location right by the sea ,not too far from Copenhagen, yet offering the peace and quiet of being by the sea. The staff is extremely friendly, and while the rooms are a bit smaller, the service is excellent. Free coffee, breathtaking sea views, and an outstanding breakfast with a healthy, carefully selected menu make the stay truly special. Absolutely recommendable I’ll definitely be back

We were a family group including my 8 year old grandson. The hotel is clean, comfortable and extremely relaxed. There are footballs and other outdoor toys in the foyer which you can use. Trampoline outside too which kept Joe happy. The breakfast is really good with a variety of food.

Beautiful hotel, very kind and efficient staff, very good breakfast and excellent restaurant, very good position near the harbour and Karen Blixen museum, the sea just in front. Coffee, tea and water complimentary in nice areas of the hotel at any time.
