The food in general was delicious, the breakfast menu has a variety of everything from cereal to pancakes and even toast with eggs and sausages. To top off, they even offer italian style pizza made directly in an open wood oven. Very chill spot for a hideout with your soulmate, with the beach literally next door!

We had an amazing stay at Zapata Hotel. It truly felt like home — cozy, peaceful, and with a secure, closed property. The breakfast was great, and the dinner, made to order, offered nice options to choose from. We also loved that the prices were very reasonable. The owner, Marta, is incredibly kind and helpful. She is always ready to assist — whether it’s exchanging money, helping with transportation, or giving advice on where to go. Her support made our stay even more enjoyable. We highly recommend Zapata Hotel and would gladly come back!

When you enter in the room you are welcomed by a great smell of soap and you realise immediately that everything is very clean. There is AC and a fun on top of the bed (which I prefer to the AC), Wifi working perfectly everywhere, even in the garden. The owner is just great, in 4 days he found us: the best rate to change money, trusted excurtion, a great restaurant, a rented car (we wanted one with full insurance to avoid trubles) and, whatever we needed He was there for us. We were supposed to change structure after 2 days, but we cancelled and staid 2 days more because we felt pampered. Other details: Great breakfast , pool, books available for you, the beach is 1 minute walking distance away "very convinient" They washed our clothes for a very cheap price (3 shirts, 2 shorts, 7 T-shirts and incountable socks and underwear for the equivalent of 3.5 dollars), I loved that because I am now moving to another country and I hate packing dirty clothes. If you come here, you can even stay alone, because with Giuseppe you will have everything you need I will definitely be back Thanks to them!

Sad, overpriced and not very nice.

Sad, overpriced and not very nice. A lot of rubbish everywhere. No local culture. Beaches were poor. Theres a view of a large powerstation from the beach. No good food available apart from ridiculously overpriced top-end restaurants. Very shabby and disappointing overall. A poor end to a disappointing trip to the Dominican Republic which these days feels like a rerirement haven for expats. We left feeling deflated.

Nice city with so many changes in the years I've been. A bit annoying to deal with the vendors who seem to come every 5 minutes. Also watch out for the locals who try and get you to sit down and eat . They will mark up the prices of the food to make money off of you . I recommend you take a picture of the menu and sit yourself down and wait for someone of the establishment to atend you . The locals will try and hustle you out your money

Boca chica is a nice place to stay however you have to be...

Boca chica is a nice place to stay however you have to be careful with the host of these properties they're not all trustworthy. After being confirmed by booking.com to stay at a property then get there at 9:00 in the night and being told it's not available and it has been canceled only to check booking again and find out that it's still saying confirmed that is not the way to start your vacation.

The beach is beautiful and great for families, unfortunately it isn't a safe and welcoming place. You have the aggressive beach sellers that are rude and many are disrespectful. Also, the food vendors/restaurants on the beach charge outrageous prices and add overly high taxes to everything you order and many charge separate for on-the-beach seating. If you pay for a water activity, you will most likely get scammed! It's just not fun or safe for anyone anymore

It is a nice town.

It is a nice town. Close to Santo Domingo international airport(almost 20 min driving). Locales are always greeting and ready to help and give you advices of places to visit and how to get them. You will find a varieties of restaurant (Italian restaurants, traditional dishes)many little convenient stores, banks, church, parks, bakeries , and their beautiful beaches. They have buses that can take you directly to the colonial are on Santo Domingo for a reasonable fare. People who like water sports will.find many options here to have fun.

From February 10 to March 5, we spent three unforgettable Sundays. We lived 100 meters from the beach. We had dinner on the veranda, watching the evening life of the Boca Chica resort. Cleaning was done daily. Along the beach to the left is a promenade with restaurants where fish and lobsters are cooked very tasty. Thank you Parco del Caribe for your hospitality, we will definitely come back. Goodbye. Victor and Natalia, Kryvyi Rih, pensioners, Ukraine.

The location is great, walking distance to the supermarket, pharmacy, many restaurants and the beach! The hosts were very nice and attentive. It's very close to the touristy side of Boca Chica, but in a more «locals» area which I liked a lot. It's a simple house but has everything you need : clean bathrooms, basic cooking, AC in the bedroom, Wi-Fi, etc. The bus station going to Santo Domingo is 2 min walk from the house which is a bonus.

Simple, but it outdid all the other big hotels I stayed at in the same area. The staff was very nice, especially Kimberly who works at the Front Desk. Very accommodating and always there to assist. My original plan was to move and see other places, but I likes so much that I stayed. Truly recommend anyone else to stay at this place if you are looking for something simple, but still nice and safe!

We stayed in Punta Cana for 4 days but wanted to experience Santo Domingo as well. we spent a full day at this hotel. the location is perfect. everything is walking distance. the supermarkets, the pharmacies, restaurants and even the beach. we stayed in the one bedroom and it was quite cozy. felt like I was back home in my apartment.
