Casa Caona exceeded my expectations. The apartment feels brand new, very cozy, and extremely well thought. There’s so much greenery around that you really disconnect from the noise of the city. At the same time, you still get modern comforts like strong A/C, great shower pressure, very good wifi and a super comfy bed. The beach is breathtaking and only a short walk away. The hosts gave great recommendations for food and activities. Highly recommended.

Literally couldn’t be better, hostel room was super cozy with complete privacy inside your bunk, and the public spaces were beautiful and really well kept. The photos don’t even do it justice, since they were taken all the surrounding plants and garden has grown into a lush jungle around the main building. One of the owners, Austin, was an absolute pleasure to speak with as are all of the rest of the staff and guests, truly a hub for brilliant people in one of the most untouched an beautiful places I have ever stayed. I can’t wait to come back to El Valle !!

Constanza was made for hosting. She is amazing, created a beautiful and peaceful environment and houses for her guest. We were welcomed by her, her husband and their lovely dog. Is not easy start, because we enjoyed all they offer there , but human quality of Noemi & Jonathan and all the staff, the care they have with the guests, the details and the Nature around, the kitchen and the delicious food (BEST Piña colada 00 alc. ever tasted ) and the sweet dogs (Loba and the old pack) made our days in Samana a one Life experience. If you want enjoy las Terrenas, sun bath and beach lovers should add calm and peace in mornings and evenings in this really special place. I want also mention the good beds, hot showers and delicious breakfast and the impressive green views and songs of tons of birdlife.

Beautiful and peaceful stay. The loft is thoughtfully designed and surrounded by nature. María was very helpful and welcomed us at the El Valle Lodge Restaurant nearby. The room was comfortable, the terrace was relaxing, and the beach is a short walk away. We also enjoyed a calm happy hour with music at night. Perfect place to disconnect. Will definitely return.
