No breakfast at the hotel but got coffee and pastries at the coffee shop all the time and it was great. Got to visit the "Mexican" restaurant, but it was only pretty, the food was disappointing. Their drinks were ok, but the food was nauseating.

Location is great, we walked to all the old city attractions in Zona Colonial. Francky, the owner is extremely friendly and makes you feel at home! He explains all you need to know from a place to exchange money to restaurants and supermarket, and I got to practice my French along with my Spanish. The instructions about the code to the front door and the room were clear, and he was there when we arrived, took us to our room and explained all. Room was big and clean, as well as the toilet. The air con was great and the air con light can be turned off so you can sleep better at night. We decided to have breakfast there and it was ok, had fresh fruit, juice, coffee, bread and eggs. There's water on the room but all mornings before we left we would ask for a bottle each to take with us while sightseeing. I will definitively stay there if I return to Santo Domingo

The room was really nice and cozy. The breakfast was good as well, the only thing is they didn’t have bacon and my son wanted that. The pool was really nice as well. My sons really did enjoy it although it was only for 1 night. I will definitely stay here again. The staff were extremely welcoming.

Everything was great. Gorgeous white marble bathroom. Spacious rooms with seating area. Top to floor windows. Quality bed linnen and towels. Aesthetically pleasing on every floor, not just the rooms. Helpful, friendly and English speaking staff. I will keep coming every time I’m in town. Great value for money. Highly recommend.

a beautiful city with a lot history and a modern feeling combine. good food .friendly people. we all ways fell safe you can see police pretty much everywhere. calle de las damas is a most go street. super easy and safe to walk around . boca chica is the closer beach near the citi.

I spent one day with a group tour around the city: caves, panoramic tour by bus, historical part and I loved it! I stayed in a lively area where on Sunday families were playing sports, listening to music, eating out and I loved it, The food is very affordable. Finally, I went by myself to the museums in the historical part again: Catedral la Primada, Ambar museum, Larimar museum. I ate at a restaurant next to the Last Columbus's house and the food was amazing.

I'd take a pass on traveling to Santo Domingo again, I've traveled to a lot of developing countries, but this city is the worst capital in Latin America. The service is all around terrible within the city, it is expensive for what is offered, it is very, very underdeveloped, it is chaotic, and dangerous.

The colonial Zone of Santo Domingo is stunning, with a lot of Museums, A beautiful Cathedral, a very active nightlife, cafes, restaurants a so much. Perfect for walking and relaxing, very Bohemian vibe. Recomendations: Mosquito bar, La casa del ron with a stunning view of the Cathedral and Sabina with a very bohemian style. If you want a more modern vibe then stay in the Piantini district, With a lot of modern bars, restaurants like Sarah and a lot roof top around the city. and a very cosmopolitan vibe, however, be aware that the traffic is chaotic and stressful during peak hours. If you visit Santo Domingo please go to the beach, Close by Bocha Chica, A little bit far away but worth it is La Romana and Punta Cana.

Historic buildings, a multitude of restaurants and terraces, museums, what more do you want? Also nice Malecon for an evening walk. If you don't drive it's easy (and cheap) to get around with Uber.

The city has three nice places: Zona Colonial, Botanical Garden and Les Tres Ojos. Two days will do to see all of them, maximum. The rest is just dirty, chaotic, noisy and full of cars who drive madly.

We stayed in Las Mirabal Hermanas suite.l It's an amazing place. Lots of heart put in and well thought amenities, decor, guides, etc in the entire Casa.. It's a very high standard, above Dominican Republic. Breakfast was really nice too. The place It's with lots of colour, truly amazing! Received very good sightseeing tips from the owner with the highlight of the cable car journey. Also received some free cerveza. Swimming pool which is well lighten at night. Whole place is really good.

I don't think I would visit this hotel again in the future. there are much better, more modern and with better breakfast for the same price in the area. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, but that's where the positives end in my opinion. Breakfast was terrible, zero choice, no natural juices, nothing.. one of the worst breakfasts I have experienced in Santo Domingo.

The breakfast is on a ROFFTOP CONTAINER. The Cheese and all the meat is without colling just on a table! Very simple Hotel, more an YMCA style. Avoid it if you can, NO PARKING available. That is a place for BACKPACKERS. the Price for this standard in Santo Domingo is way overpriced.
