The colonial Zone of Santo Domingo is stunning, with a lot of Museums, A beautiful Cathedral, a very active nightlife, cafes, restaurants a so much. Perfect for walking and relaxing, very Bohemian vibe. Recomendations: Mosquito bar, La casa del ron with a stunning view of the Cathedral and Sabina with a very bohemian style. If you want a more modern vibe then stay in the Piantini district, With a lot of modern bars, restaurants like Sarah and a lot roof top around the city. and a very cosmopolitan vibe, however, be aware that the traffic is chaotic and stressful during peak hours. Views from the flat and the pool are great. The flat has everything for a long stay too. Netflix and cable channels. At the Malecón where you can have run or walk at the sea breeze. Super Market Nacional 5 min drive and 120 DOP with Uber. 20 min SAFE walk to Zona Colonial. Johnny is awesome host. All staff is friendly.
