Very friendley, helpfull and welcoming staff! Perfect location in save neighbourhood not far from airport. Nice view over the city/river. Even after checkout not a problem chilling at the rooftop pool with shower facility. Good breakfast.

We needed to stay overnight between flights and I was very nervous given the city's reputation. The hotel is by far your safest option for short term stays, it is 2-300 meters from the terminal, you can easily walk it if you don't have luggage, the hotel entrance is just by the security checkpoint, so all safe. We took the complimentary hotel shuttle, had someone waiting for us in the terminal. They have a dedicated entrance/exit in the airport parking so the transfer takes 2 minutes. Swimming pool was nice and you have a nice view of planes coming in to land. Room was clean and with all amenities you would expect.

Excellent stay - we asked for late check-out, was granted without charge. Breakfast on 8th floor sensationel - very friendly staff. heated up the jacuzzi for us.

A stunning hotel on the riverside right in the heart of Guayaquil's Historic Park. The rooms are large and well decorated, the service is excellent and the food - both at breakfast and in the various restaurants - is really good. By staying at the hotel you are located literally inside the park, which has a lot of flora and fauna as well as various old buildings that have been restored either as museums or in one case as an upscale restaurant. Guayaquil is very hot and humid, and the hotel felt like an oasis from the city and the heat. It has an orchid garden courtyard inside, a beautiful old chapel which is still active, and a very pretty and well appointed gym. We spent a lot of our stay in and around the hotel, and although it's definitely not cheap, we were extremely grateful to have booked it (we were stopping in Guayaquil on our way to Galapagos).
