Hacienda El Porvenir is absolutelly amazing accomodation to stay next to Cotopaxi national park. We loved the premises as it is hidden in the countryside and thanks to its unique and well protected architecture you trully feel like in a different world. World of peace, quietness where you can enjoy the nature and magnificent Cotopaxi volcano. The room was super comfortable, the food was delicious and also their spa is incredible. All the staff is so kind and willing to help you. We also booked a hiking trip and a horseriding trip with them and it was epic.

Darwin was a super host and chef. He helped us organise a guide to take us up Cotopaxi (Patricio who also was amazing). Darwin provided great communication before we even arrived helping us get to his hotel via bus or taxi. Nice fire in the restaurant to dry off after a day of walking, hot water in the room, cozy bed Theres even a small shop opposite for any snacks

We felt at home. The owner was extremely kind and helped us getting around to the national parks. You can easily get a bus from the main highway to Cotopaxi. The house doesn’t have heating but we were not cold as they gave us really warm blankets
