Our stay at the newly renovated old Shali house turned into homestay was a wonderful experience, made very special due to our host Ahmed Maradona. He is very knowledgeable about Siwa, took us on great trips to a private salt lake and around the oasis. Rooms are spacious and decorated with great care for local traditions, each has its own bathroom and common area is very cozy to relax. If you need anything, Maradona will get it to you in a second. Free and working WiFi in all areas is a big plus. The place is very peaceful, but just a short walk takes you to the center of the lively town. You can climb to Shali fortress from just behind the house and we had a view to its top from our bathroom.

One of the best experiences of my life! As a solo traveler and digital nomad, this hotel offered so much more than just a place to stay. 🌟 What I liked: Everything! The people were incredibly kind and helpful. The hotel itself was super clean, beautifully maintained, and very comfortable. The view, the atmosphere — just perfect. 🍽️ The breakfast: Delicious, fresh, and with plenty of variety. A great way to start the day! 📍 The location: Perfectly situated — peaceful .

this wonderful lodgel is far from Siwa town and allows the visitor to enjoy his stay in absolute peace. Available both a cold water and a hot water pool. The workers in the lodge are always ready to help you in whatever you need. Hamo, the manager, is super kind, speaks good English, and he can arrange for you all the tours you need and even a take away meal at the hotel, near the pool. Lovely experience.

The place is in a very calm and peaceful part of Siwa. There's a beautiful inner yard with a small pool and a campfire seating. It was really nice to sit around the fire in the evening and drink tea. The room and bathroom were nice and clean. There were warm and soft blankets for winter months. Breakfast was delicious and there was also possibility to order lunch and dinner. The owner is very kind and accommodating.
