Anso is a wonderful little village in the heart of the...
Anso is a wonderful little village in the heart of the Spanish Pyranees. I did not have a car but there are wonderful walks starting and ending from the village. For those people with cars, there are easy day trips to the high mountains. There are wonderful restaurants in Anso - the Kimboa and the Marberal come to mind as particularly delightful. And if you have a car, there are bordas within 8km of Anso up the road to Zuriza that serve absolutely splendid traditional Spanish cooking in a rustic setting. I am 77 but if you are younger, the Grand Route from Anso to Fago and the Grand Route from Anso to Hecho are not miss day hikes that I have done when I was a bit younger. The owner of the Casa Rural Turreta is a potter who makes absolutely wonderful things - and very reasonable!Guest review byekaterina puffiniUnited States

And there can't be many better places to stay than in this apartment. Located in the centre of the village, it is close to the shops and bars, but. Ansó is lovely and the mountains are gorgeous. The people of this town are all very nice. Raul, Susanna and their daughter were so nice to us.
