The swimming pool, the surroundings, and the fruit tress made our trip absolutely fantastic. The kids loved the pool, and the seniors absolutely enjoyed picking and eating delicious figs & mulberries.

The view from my apartment was amazing! I was asking the house holder to prepare apartment for me and my husband anniversary, and she did it very cute. Totally recommend that nice little place to stay for vacation.

Exceptional Charmingly retro, yet very clean and well equipped apartment, very comfortable. Mr Paco, the host, is very kind and helpful, providing us with all information needed. He gave us a lovely gift (local olive oil) and left us sweets and drinks in refrigerator (+ coffee and milk). Location is great, with free parking. Absolutely recommendable, great place

Beautiful views, but a bitter experience in the apartment:...

Beautiful views, but a bitter experience in the apartment: ants in the kitchen, a lack of kitchen utensils (small spoons, steak knives, glasses). The apartment was very dirty, and the pool was filthy with sediment at the bottom and moss on the walls. For €108 a night, they shouldn't present such an image. This was our first and last time there; the neglect of the facilities is a shame.

Fantastic!

Fantastic! It's in an ideal location, very peaceful and surrounded by nature. The room was very comfortable and everything was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the staff member was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was decent. All in all, a place I'll definitely return to.

The village is small, but it has several hiking trails, including an internal path that follows the river through the village. The locals are very friendly; they always greet you when you pass them on the street and are happy to tell you about anything. It's also just half an hour from Jaén and an hour from Baeza and Úbeda.

Arbuniel pleasantly surprised me.

Arbuniel pleasantly surprised me. We went to the restaurant next to the country house and loved it. We also went to the Aguas de Arbuniel restaurant and were very comfortable. The waiters at both places were very friendly and professional.

Sierra Mágina was always a mountain range we passed through,...

Sierra Mágina was always a mountain range we passed through, and we were really looking forward to exploring it. It didn't disappoint; it has many hiking trails and is surrounded by very welcoming villages. The people who live there are very friendly. The village of Arbuniel, in particular, is very beautiful and charming.

A beautiful village, with its narrow streets, its whitewashed houses, its decorated streets, with all needs covered, bakery, cafe/pastry shop, grocery store, pharmacy, its stream, its friendly people, excellent flat terrain for walking and enjoying its multitude of fountains, plus a spectacular site such as the source of its river.
