Loved it, we’ll be back for a longer stay. I’d forgotten how much we’d liked this part of Spain back in our biking days! The Infanta Isabel accommodation is great, seems to be part of a development rescuing part of the town’s older quarter. Plaza de la Villa is like a medieval set waiting for a film crew to arrive. Arevalo is a small place so easy to get around in the hunt for somewhere to eat. Around the Plaza de la Villa are some restaurants, quite expensive and not all open the Friday we were there. We went in search of an Italian restaurant with good reviews and found it closed - and looking unlikely to open any time soon! We entertained - and were entertained by - some delightful and friendly local people who pointed us in the direction of…Sharkies, a bar/restaurant serving tapas,pizzas, kebabs and platos combinados - very friendly and efficient service and good food reasonably priced.Guest review byMarkUnited Kingdom
