MAGNIFICENT! Completely renewed and still working lighthouse, converted into a fine and delicate boutique hotel. Best staff we’ve ever had in the world! We got some drinks and snacks at arrival, despite we arrived earlier than expected, and then they prepared a dinner specially for us, given we were exhausted after a long day. The views and the experience of being here is unbelievable. Food and cleanliness is superb. Only 15 min far away from the beautiful Vigo city, driving trough the coastal road which is also a plus. We stayed at rooms with sea view, an incredible experience seeing the light at night illuminating the ocean.

We loved our stay at Hotel Arce. Their attention to detail was much appreciated. The hotel is well situated and we were happily surprised by a Monday morning market in the street outside when we left.

It is an historic building on the water at Baiona. The common rooms are beautiful and vast and all of the staff were very welcoming. When we ordered a beer and tea after our 8 hour day on the Camino, we were given crisps, nuts and some cake which was a really nice touch and much appreciated

The pod was amazing! Peaceful, luxurious, with one of the most beautiful views we’ve seen. There were lots of little details (fresh hydrangeas, soaps, robes, strings of lights) in the pod, which made the stay feel particularly special and memorable. The terrace was also beautiful, with comfortable sunbeds and fabulous swing. All staff were incredibly kind and helpful - thank you, we would love to stay here again!

We were a group of two couples cycling the Camino, the location was perfect, the picturesque castle and restaurants/bars/supermarket were all just a short stroll away. Ruth, the host, was really friendly and helpful, she was there to treat us and say goodbye, she also communicated with us well through the booking.com app, particularly after we booked at short notice, and reassuring us about the secure bike storage facility opposite. The Villa was homely, full of character and all the appliances we used all worked well: coffee machine, washing machine, dishwasher etc.

A great place to stroll around the harbour taking in the views, sculptures & architecture or drop into the busy back streets, lot's of restaurants, cafés & bars, good beaches along the front, quite a few places of historical interest to visit, we loved the little streets off the harbour, every corner you turned there was a gem of a building be it for commerce, church or residence

Baiona is a breathtakingly beautiful seaside town!!

Baiona is a breathtakingly beautiful seaside town!! It's easy to walk around and get to restaurants, shopping, the beaches, the marina. So much to see and do. There is also a wonderful sidewalk everywhere that the Camino Pilgrims use, so it's easy and safe to walk everywhere!! The seaside views are spectacular!! I HIGHLY recommend a walk out to the Crystal Beach and Light House!!!

This small town has historic buildings, a beautiful harbour, a couple of lovely beaches, and a large fort housing a 4-star hotel if that's your thing. Add in the great range of bars and restaurants, and there's no problem chilling out here for a couple of days.

I really enjoyed Baiona!

I really enjoyed Baiona! The seaside coast is spectacularly beautiful. The downtown core has a nice charm to it, without feeling super touristy. The sea wall/fortress is a really pretty spot and very photogenic. The marinas full of boats add to the ambience. It’s not too far to walk to the Virgen de la Roca (maybe 20 minutes from downtown) and is a very scenic viewpoint. Would highly recommend.

We ate at Taberna Mendoza, would skip next time. Nothing impressive about it and the staff were too busy and not particularly friendly. Downtown is lively late in the evening, we went back to the property to enjoy the view but would also have been nice to hang out downtown.

It’s a beautiful location with access to the beach areas for...

It’s a beautiful location with access to the beach areas for free as well as tourist attractions such Mirxe de Rocha (our lady on the rocks) and others for a very cheap tickets of only €2-3 each. The food is delicious with lots of varieties and the Polpo being a famous one (it’s octopus stuffed with potatoes and herbs). Calm , peaceful, friendly people and beautiful! A very good walking route alongside the beach line. Definitely recommend!

Lovely boutique hotel. Well-appointed, had everything we needed, and the owner Robert was incredibly accommodating. The continental breakfast was delicious, there's a pretty garden area to enjoy a wine and some sun, and it was a wonderful place to spend two nights (including a rest day) on our Camino. We really appreciated the cooling foot and leg gel - a godsend for our tired legs!
