Very cozy place with a very good beach, restaurants and shops. Nothing historical near the sea (the castle is very far from the beach), but it's a very convenient town for resting. The beach was amazing, large, sandy, clean and not busy at all despite us visiting in July. We stayed on the edge of Calafell so there were not many restaurants nearby, but that was not such a problem for us as we mostly cooked our own meals. Easy access with train one hour from Barcelona to Calafell and the hotel is 8 min walk from the trainstation. Just walk towards the sea and turn left… friendly staff and the place is very clean and beautifull! The room had fridge but no cettle for coffee or tea.
