This hostal is more like a hotel. Modern, clean and beautiful. I have stayed in many hostels or albergues as they are called in Spain when I was doing Camino de Santiago. None of them was as good as this one. Super great value for money. And I was in a room for six by myself. Totally unexpected. The staff are great too. Very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it!!!!!

Firstly, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our friend Fernando and the owner of the house for their gracious hospitality and for opening the doors of Casa Victor Riu to us. Our stay at Casa Victor Riu is beyond description in a single word; hence, I hope this review does it justice. As a family, we felt deeply honored to be the very first guests to stay at the magnificent Casa Victor Riu. Nestled in the traditional old municipality of Piera, within the enchanting city of Barcelona, the house left an indelible mark on our hearts, providing the tranquility and space we so earnestly sought. Even before our arrival, the photographs of the house evoked a sense of connection. This connection was immediately reinforced upon our first walk through the stunning, breathtaking garden. The thoughtfully designed house, with its harmonious integration of architecture and nature, made us feel at ease right from the start. The Italian-inspired walls and designs beautifully accentuate the essence of Casa Victor Riu: its garden. The garden, meticulously cared for, tells its own stories and has been nurtured with great attention to detail. Despite the grey and rainy weather, the garden and house maintained their vibrant charm. The various terraces and spots around the house provided ample space for us to comfortably enjoy and take in the awe-inspiring views of the garden and the city upon the hill. Casa Victor Riu transported us back to an era of class and elegance. The magnificent living room, highlighted by a striking fireplace, made our stay during the rainy days particularly cozy. The bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, are exquisitely designed to complement the overall aesthetics of the house. Every room in the house has its unique design, fitting together like pieces of a puzzle, providing each family member with their private space.

A lovely and well-maintained place—spotlessly clean and comfortable. The owner was incredibly kind and accommodating. We had our own cozy apartment with a fully equipped kitchen and a charming terrace. Conveniently located, with a supermarket just a few minutes away. We truly wish we could’ve stayed longer. All very well, who is looking for relaxation and nature, this is an appropriate place, it has an outdoor terrace area at the access to the accommodation and another terrace area leaving the room, a charming place. We stayed in the one that is only a room, it had everything we needed, breakfast (additional payment) was a delight, with products from the area. Fully recommended.
