Absolutely everything, amazing decor, super comfortable rooms, brilliant hospitality. Casa Jardin had such an inviting vibe as soon as you walked through the door. The hosts Anthony and Ian were so welcoming and they made the stay so much better with an amazing breakfast and friendly conversation. Everything about this place was perfection!! Such an amazing stay, we honestly see it more as a destination point than a stop over, we would definitely recommend staying for more than one night to really enjoy the charming city that is just outside the steps of the property. Prime location! We would travel all the way from Australia to stay here again!!

Beautifuly restored house with two teraces. Clean premises,good quality linen. Super tasty breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice. Friendly owners. Simply wonderful! Great host, Maurice went above & beyond to help us with our travel arrangements. Delicious breakfast served on top floor terrace. Room was well equipped, very comfortable bed etc. All in all excellent. Thank you 🙏

    A beautiful Pueblo Blanco, with quiet, narrow streets, stunning architecture and fantastic restaurants. It's worth the extra drive up the mountain, and it's easy to get back down to the beaches when you want to.

    Lovely little town (village) some small places around ti visit as well. Bike rental shop in the centre, lots of restaurants, bars, some flat paths buts mainly up and down the hill. Safe, quiet place, great community.Good internet signal in town.

    Cómpeta is a small, beautiful and quaint little town on the Andalusia mountains, surrounded by wineries and winding roads. Cute little restaurants, bars and cafés for eating or watching the world go by. You can drive to the town square but it's easiest to walk around and explore the little alleys and shops. It has a slight hippie vibe to it with many crystal shops. Very queer friendly. We spotted raindow flags all around the city and tons of queer folk. Would recommend for anyone looking for a little escape from the city.

    A lovely little town with great small shops and two medium sized grocery stores where you can get everything you need for the stay. On Saturdays a lovely little market in the town square with local produce and textiles.

    A lovely location.

    A lovely location. Well worth visiting this incredible Spanish village. Very welcoming and friendly. Evening meal enjoyed at small restaurant in the central square enjoyed immensely. Great experience exploring and wandering the streets of the Old Town and experiencing what one imagines is the real Spanish lifestyle. Town market on Saturday. Several streets fairly steep and suggest bearing this in mind.

    The hosts are very welcoming and do everything to make your stay very enjoyable. The location is beautiful and the property facilities are first class. The breakfast is amazing and served with a fantastic view of the hills and the distant sea. The evening meal is equally top class and great value for money. Competa is a lovely town and the area has many walking trails. The heated pool is perfect for relaxing and the hot tub is always available. George, the dog, is an added bonus. We will return next time we are in the area.

    We have stayed a few times at Competa and this was our best stay in the beautiful town. The accommodation was so lovely and our hosts - Mandy & Marcel - were absolutely fantastic. They were attentive, made wonderful breakfasts and a pleasure to see each morning.

    Salamandra Plaza is a lovely little hotel located on one of the main squares in Competa, right across from the church. The location is excellent. The rooms are small, but comfortable. There are several restaurants within steps of the hotel.
