Since the accommodation has all sorts of utensils, there should be breakfast available one day, even if it was just single-serving portions. The shower curtain in one of the bathrooms was hanging down; they need to fix it. Regards.

The hostel is located in the old town behind the Church of the Assumption and a few steps from the Hermitage of the Rosary. I was there during Holy Week, which is a spectacular time to visit Hellín; Holy Week is declared of international tourist interest.

A village in La Mancha, nestled between the fields of...

A village in La Mancha, nestled between the fields of Jumilla and Albacete, close to other interesting places for day trips. Points of interest include the Church of the Assumption. Its Holy Week processions are spectacular, with truly magnificent floats and a beautiful route to follow. The drums are as famous as those of Tobarra and Calanda. The area boasts excellent cuisine, with fresh fruit and vegetables.

It could have been more interesting if the receptionist had been a little more helpful. She simply handed us a map, pointed out where we were, and indicated the location of the Grand Dia and the historic center. Very brief.

What I liked most was how cozy the room was, and the whole apartment in general; it's decorated simply but tastefully. Everything is new and clean, plus there's plenty of natural light, and of course, the host's kindness makes you feel comfortable and at ease.

We visited the cave paintings in the hamlet of Minateda and also the Tolmo de Minateda archaeological park. They aren't spectacular, but the three hours we spent there were well worth it. Highly recommended.

This is a beautiful hotel … on saying that as you arrive you wonder what on earth have you booked !!! It’s down a dirt road, but when the hotel doors open it’s fantastic xx clean, rooms to die for ! The food in the evening was amazing 🤩 xx very friendly host we will certainly go back the walking there is fantastic xx not suitable for disabled people xx no lifts and 23 steps to go up to the rooms xx but certainly worth a visit to the hotel and area xx if your a walker

Hotel part of the building is modern and well decorated you need to go to the rear to access the hotel. We arrived on Sunday so no chance of any food but we knew this having read the reviews. We found food up in the town a short walk away. Hotel is good for a stopover only spanish spoken but we managed ok. Breakfast is fine to get you on the road.

Excellent location between old town and busier modern center. No problem finding parking spot on the street right in front of the hotel. Breakfast was available in the hotel resturant. Wasn´t anything special but OK and inexpensive. Lovely local atmosphere in the restaurant and terrace.

Quiet place in the middle of farms/plantations. Hotel is rebuild from a farm using by few interesting ideas. Like this kind of creative masonry/architecture. :)
