Comfortable bed in the sunshine room (room 2) ceiling fan, all new windows with persianas, the sun terrace (sun trap) & kitchen (which even had some cold drinks, coffee, tea, water & milk) made for a very calm & relaxing stay with everything I needed. The property was impeccably maintained. Every aspect was thoughtfully designed to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. The house is nestled in a serene setting, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It is the  perfect choice for families seeking a memorable and rejuvenating getaway! One of the highlights of the location was the opportunity to embark on scenic drives along the winding roads that overlooked the lake. It was a remarkable way to explore the area.  The hosts were outstanding in their hospitality and attentiveness, making us feel like cherished guests throughout our stay.  We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the amenities, tranquil ambiance and idyllic views of this wonderful property!

Beautiful house. Clean, cosy and quiet. Had the best sleep in the last 10 days on our trip. The host was very helpful and nice. Beautiful views of the mountains from the terrace. Highly recommend.

    Fantastic walks all around the village of Iznajar. the lake was beautiful even though it was only 27% full.. The town itself was unspoilt and the Visit to the castle was worth to see. 2 euros for most of us and 1 euros for pensioners..

    It is very pretty with surrounding mountains and olive groves and wonderful views of the lake. There are some lovely bars and restaurants and the castle is fantastic to visit and only 2 euros! The only possible downside is that the steep hills may be difficult for people with limited mobility.

    You will need transport to visit the area . It's a lovely walk down to the reservoir with a lovely beach and a couple of bars that do lovely food. There are lots of sports in front of hotel as well as a running track . Also the lovely small town of Iznajar with the a castle overlooks all. well worth a visit.

    This is our 2nd visit across 8 yrs and we love it.

    This is our 2nd visit across 8 yrs and we love it. Would come back again as its one of our favourites, little town with white washed buildings, Moorish castle it's history & most of all little courtyards covered with pots of flowers on walls, fences, verandah's with the most stunning views of the Moorish town, rivers, dams & hills of olive fields set high in the hills. Iznajar we love you!

    It's very zen and peaceful. Lovely atmosphere. There wasnt a tv in rooms but this wasnt an issue as it was a peaceful place. Swimming pool was lovely. Home made food presented and served was excellent. You need to be pet friendly as they have two lovely dogs. Surrounded by mountains and lovely views . Carolina and Jean were friendly professional and there when you need them. A Very dedicated couple.

    Our stay at Casa La Serena was blissful, a welcome rest after many days of travelling through Anadalucia. Amalia - the hostess was very attentive and gave us lovely recommendations for tapas places in town. We enjoyed a relaxed day by the pool with a spectacular view over Iznajar castle and had a barbecue in the evening. The house and the pool were very clean and well equipped, with outdoor as well as indoor kitchen and a washing machine. I would definitely be coming back if I am ever back in Iznajar.

    What a stunning traditional hotel. I was hoping to find a little gem. We loved our corner room with views from both windows . The dinning room was lovely, more so when laid out for special events . The food very nice and .staff very welcoming nothing to much trouble. The terrace had wonderful views . This was the best hotel in our 7 week tour around Spain, we stayed for a week . Yes maybe a little tired around the edges, all added to the charm . We hope to revisit if that far south again.

    This is a boutique accommodation in the picturesque village of Iznajar. Located just in the centre so you can easily explore it. The hosts were extremely nice and helpful and their dog Pumpkin is very cute too. The homemade breakfast was very delicious and had a great variety. The rooms with their unique decoration, were spacious enough, bright, very clean and had a great views. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. I highly recommend this property. Thank you!

    The views, character and privacy this house brings make it very special and completely stunning. I would choose it over any 5 star hotel and will definitely be back. The host was available any time and I can't recommend this highly enough to anyone seeking traditional Spain in a modern Spanish home, in the most picturesque landscape imaginable. Had everything we needed and more.
