Unless you have good mobility and enjoy and lengthy uphill...
Unless you have good mobility and enjoy and lengthy uphill climb on your return to the hotel, you really do need a car to visit the local village of Laujar. There is free parking there , plus a variety of small shops and cafe/bars, and is worth a visit. Likewise, to get the best experience of the hotel premises and surrounding area, you need to be a fairly agile walker. There is a lift to take those less mobile from the reception area down to the restaurant, bar and pool. An apartment on the lower level would be more appropriate in this case. Set outside of the town of Laujar in beautiful grounds and with great views. A lovely, spacious room with a great terrace. Friendly staff and and a good pool area. There are lovely walks around the Rio Nacimiento area and direct from the hotel down to Fondon and Fuente Victoria. Recommended.Guest review byPaulSpain

The grounds, and pool are beautifully maintained. All the staff are very kind and helpful, special mention of Antonia who served us in the restaurante in the evening and looked after us on the terrace all evening.Guest review byJoSpain
