Outstanding location, just in the heart of the old city Casco Viejo. Most of attractions are reachable by foot. Famous Plaza Nueva with plenty of places to enjoy delicious Pinxos is just around the corner. The coffee shop-Internet cafe in the lobby is very welcoming, the carrot cake is highly recommended. The room is very clean, the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Staff is very friendly.

I was here in 2020 in full Covid-19 period, and I’ll always remember the staff’s professionalism and friendliness in very uncommon and difficult circumstances at that time. I really enjoyed being able to go for walks of more than an hour along the town's trails. The highest area of Loiu is Mount Unbe, which has privileged views of all of Uribekosta. Loiu is a place to discover on foot. I will be back as soon as I can: There is a lot of nature despite being one of the municipalities close to Bilbao.

The price is moderate compared to other accommodations near Bilbao. The photo of the house's facade gives the impression of being old and poorly made, but the interior is surprisingly renovated, clean, and modern, with all the comforts. If we go back to Bilbao with family or friends, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again because of its proximity to the city.

What I liked most about Loiu was its excellent bus service. The surrounding area is beautiful, with leisure areas, walking paths, playgrounds, a pelota court, tennis courts, and green spaces. The town also has all the necessary amenities, such as a pharmacy, bars, and shops.

The hotel is nice from the online booking and the outside on arrival, BUT inside is tired and dirty, which is immediately evident when entering the lift and unfortunately doesn't improve in the rooms which need professional cleaning , repainting and new carpets. The cafe is v good with nice coffee and the staff friendly but for 94 euros for 1 night it is very overpriced. Parking and breakfast are extra and not worth it. Great Basque restaurant only a few km away called Dandaka Jdattxea which was awesome and relatively inexpensive.

It was awful and nobody was there to let us in as our bus arrived after 11pm. Were made to wait outside for a taxi that never arrived. This is an airport hotel which surely should have 24 hr reception. I was told to get taxi to pick up a key. The lady spoke no English and it was very hard to commuicate with her. At an airport hotel there should be an English speaking contact. We did not stay here and ended up sleeping at the airport on the floor. I expect a full refund. Regards Jackie Brooks

The two staff / owner of the apartment were incredibly friendly and helpful! We came an hour earlier than expected, they welcomed us in and helped us settled in no time. They also helped us to call and book for an early morning taxi to the airport for our flight next day. The property was clean and comfortable. There is a family run restaurant nearby, Batzoki de Loiu with equally friendly people and comfort food.
