We stayed here for a couple of nights and the owners Anna and Joseph were fantastic - very friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home in their house. The breakfasts and home cooked dinner were delicious. The rooms were very comfortable and the pool and garden is very nice. Our hosts couldn't do enough for us, even taking one of us to the hospital the morning of check-out! We had a wonderful time.

We truly loved it. The house has a beautiful soul and the location is extraordinary - as close to the ocean as it can get. The beach is right next to the building. The owner and the hosts are very friendly, kind and helpful. The area is captivating - a lot of breathtaking sights and soothing nature. The beach was not overly crowded. It was very clean and so was the water. Lovely dogs played with their owners at the beach all the time. Guess Basques love dogs and that love is mutually which is absolutely marvelous. The dogs are uniquely calm and cheerful. The waves are pretty good for surfing. Can't wait to visit Euskadi again.

Amazingly helpful and kind staff who made the stay very special and comfortable, and gave lots of advice on things to see in the area. The hotel is beautiful and stylish, and the room was incredibly cosy and comfortable with its own jacuzzi bathtub and views of the hills behind the hotel. The hotel restaurant with views over Bermeo and the sea served the most delicious food we ate throughout our whole holiday.

It's a good central location for exploring the Basque Country. However, Mungia is a very small town, and it's quite difficult to find restaurants open on Sunday afternoons or evenings.

Mungia is 10-15 minutes from Bilbao via toll-free highway; the highway exit/entrance is very close (2 minutes). The town is nice for eating, shopping, and strolling. We used it as a base for exploring the coastal towns and Bilbao by car.

two of the best decisions we made on our holiday were to book a stay here and then to order dinner. It was out of this world. Ana and Joseba were fantastic hosts who in the course of 24 hrs made us feel like family Can’t recommend the hotel and hosts highly enough

The hotel is close to Bilbao in a secluded area with nice nature. The staff was efficient and professional. The room is very large and comfortable. The price without breakfast was great, breakfast is quite expensive. Definetely one depends on car to get to Bilbao.
