BEST price on área for single room , comfortable and spacious room ,something i much appreciate when i go out to hotels ,the staff was very nice and kindly ,ready to attend any requirements i had on my stay. Is one of those kind of vintage hotels that give you the impressión to be at an old fashion 70's but at nowadays Time. Just fantastic,i would repeat ,any time i go back to sierra de Gredos. Remember 'the town of mijares' -its a place to get lost-

Really good value and breakfast the next morning was great as well, just a few euros for coffee, fresh juice and toast. Instructions received prior to arrival on where to find the key as not staffed in the evening, which was fine. I had booked a twin room, but on arrival, I found it was a double bed room. Within 30 mins of messaging, someone had arrived and showed us into a twin room, which was great. Basic room but that's all we needed after a long day on the motorbikes.

Nice bottle of wine from the host. Great roof terrace with panoramic views, but wish I could have turned off the noisy jacuzzi pump in the evening to listen to the birds whilst sipping my wine!

Such a beautiful location and Marta and Nico are excellent hosts. We stayed at the end of April and the weather was beautiful along with the surroundings and the wild flowers. The cabins are clean and well equipped. All in all a perfect place to get away from it all.

We arrived right on the chestnut festival, November 1st.

We arrived right on the chestnut festival, November 1st. The town square was bustling with activity. It's a small, charming village with beautiful surroundings, especially stunning in autumn. Ideal for hiking and chestnut picking.

A highly recommended village for exploring the Sierra de San...

A highly recommended village for exploring the Sierra de San Vicente. It's not far from the A5 motorway, and from there you can easily access excellent routes through the nearby villages. A beautiful landscape with incredible views of the Gredos Mountains. Hiking trails suitable for all levels.
