Our host was exceptionally welcoming and friendly. Despite this being a last minute booking he laid on a delicious evening meal for us made with fresh produce from his farm. Our room was cosy and full of character. We were welcomed with a delicious breakfast the next morning. This is a very special place steeped in history and well worth a visit. We will definitely be back if we are passing again as it is a place that we will never forget. Thank you

Fabulous stay, the host has thought of every detail. From good linen, firm and soft pillows to good quality towels and more than one per adult, hooray! We wanted a central stay in a quiet street, fabulous.

The location is great, landscape wise, the surroundings all perfect. The apartment I got, was on the second floor,a one bedroom apt. it had a cool little window with views to mountain and fields. it looked smaller than in the photos though. The kitchenette had the appliances, microwave and vitro ceramic plaque, dishes and all that. it had the sofa bed and one double bed as mentioned. but the apartment can be a little dark. I would say is ok for short stay, no more than one or two nights. unless if your travelling solo. with kid can be a little small. they accept pets which for me was important. It does look renovated and with new appliances.

    The hotel was lovely. It was an old building that had been sympathetically brought up to date. Our room was very comfortable, and the hosts had done everything possible to make your stay comfortable. The hotel is in a small hamlet with surrounding hills, and you can hear the bells on the cattle as they roam the nearby fields. There is a bar and a restaurant, and we really enjoyed both our evening meal and breakfast. There was loads of choice for both meals and we couldn't fault anything. I am sure we will be visiting again.

    Stayed here many times, and see the Guys as friends now - Great variety of things for breakfast and dinner - always a delight to stay here and sample their food, which is plentiful and a good choice on the menu. This is our place of choice when visiting this part of Spain, or exploring Picos de Europa. A great place to relax and unwind, especially on a sunny afternoon, as there is not really anything to do in Ormas itself.

    Beautiful hotel set in lovely countryside, great outside seating area full of plants & flowers. Owners amenable & friendly. Good breakfast, plenty of choice & reasonable price. 3 course evening meal also with lots of choice, for 15 euros. Good area for walking & the nearest town is lovely & worth a visit. Good WiFi in rooms & public spaces.

    Everthing about our stay at Posada Ormas was perfect. From a warm welcome to the lovely, comfortable and spacious room. Including a massage chair and sofa. The bathroom was very large and with a really good shower. We enjoyed a good evening meal and breakfast during our stay.

    lovely rustic hotel in the countryside but not far from Santander if you are taking the ferry. Have an option that includes dinner and breakfast which is rustic but very good dog friendly too
