Right on the Camino. It was a beautifully renovated cottage with 2 bedrooms one on ground floor and the other in basement - with a kitchen /sitting room on ground floor. The toilet, shower and sink were in the bedroom - rather than en-suite - but possible to give privacy by sitting in kitchen/sitting room. All well furnished with lots of cooking utensils - microwave and cooker.

Juan was a superb host. He went the extra mile. The accommodation is just under 2k from the nearest bar/restaurant and he offered to drive us there and pick us up. He also provided complimentary beer and wine. The house also has a great view of the Atlantic Ocean. .

This was possibly the best Alberge along the Coastal Camino. The host was warm, welcoming and so accommodating and the view was just breathtaking. It’s right in the centre of the village and there was no complication in accessing the Alberge. When we left the host was there to wish us farewell and its was dead easy to find our way back onto the Camino track. This is a beautiful, clean and exceptional place to stay

The room was large with a King bed, clean cupboards scokets for charging shared space with comfortable couches there was a laundry facility too! The kitchen was well stocked adn there was coffeemachine and fruit. It was a holiday and it owuld have been difficult for us to get a meal. Out host gave us a yummy meal. much gratitude for this act of kindness.

Oia isn't a large place so book accommodation well in advance as it is very limited, also recommend booking restaurants in advance as again very limited. We ate at A Casa da Henriqueta, about a 1 minute walk from Casa Puertas, can't recommend this place highly enough for great food and drinks, we had an absolutely mad cap night drinking with the locals, a night that will not be forgotten for their fantastic hospitality & friendship.

Oia is stunning.

Oia is stunning. A quaint seaside village with beautiful old buildings and green paddocks full of stunning horses and cattle. I loved the little cove/beach as it’s calm and quiet. I will be back for a longer stay in the future. Beautiful walks along the coast which is part of the Litoral Camino. We tried two restaurants in town and one a bit further out. Great food and service. Loved Oia.

There's nothing nearby to eat or visit. You have to go to Baiona, which is 17km away. The campsite has a restaurant, but it's outrageously expensive. We paid €13 for a ham and cheese croissant, a vegetable sandwich, and two bottles of water. They didn't even bother to heat up the croissant or the sandwich. Terrible and extortionate.

Oia is a small, charming village.

Oia is a small, charming village. Its location is perfect for the visits I had planned. The only precaution is to avoid driving using GPS directions; the streets are extremely narrow and steep, so the clutches suffer terribly. We ate at Casa Enrique, next to the hotel, and it was a pleasure to taste the monkfish in Albariño wine.

A truly authentic, small place, uncrowded, with spectacular views of the sea and mountains. The monastery is well worth a visit. Enjoying the scenery is the best part. A great area for eating fish and seafood with sea views.

After a very long day of walking, staying at Teresa’s place felt like arriving in heaven. I felt totally at home and had an amazing night of rest. The house is super charming, the views are beautiful, and it’s just a few meters from the Camino. Teresa is incredibly kind and welcoming. Also, Oia is such a cute little town — I really loved it!

The best hosts on the Caminho. The best home cooked meal on the Senda Litoral. [see Pictures]. The room was very clean and the kitchen area has everything you need. I recommend this guesthouse I Oia for anyone wanting to break their Caminho walk between Aguarda and Baiona.
