Absolutely fabulous place. Maria went out of her way to make it as comfortable as possible. There were fruits, snacks, and drinks to choose from. The apartment is immaculate. It was very cold and wet, and the lovely fireplace warmed us up quickly. The apartment is a bit out of the way, but a quick walk to the town centre, and you will be close to all the shops and restaurants.

    It was amazing to arrive in Portomarin and dip my feet in...

    It was amazing to arrive in Portomarin and dip my feet in the river. It was the best foot spa experience I have ever had. Great spot to rest when walking the Camino from Sarria. There was a couple of people singing and playing a guitar under a bridge and that made the whole experience even more romantic.

    We only stayed one night, whilst on our way on The Camino.

    We only stayed one night, whilst on our way on The Camino. The room was clean, the shower very good pressure and the beds comfortable. The only problem was a musical festival in the town that went on until the very early hours but that couldn't have been foreseen. The view from the bedroom was into another room, so blinds were useful! Local restaurants were good.

    I stayed for 1 night, the room was nice with 10 bunk beds, balcony had a great view of the river, location was not far from the centre, great restaurants and coffee place's nearby. Just 2 washrooms with showers. Overall, very clean, great experience, would book again.

    Portomarin is right on the water, and on the Camino.

    Portomarin is right on the water, and on the Camino. It is a beautiful town with plenty of restaurants and shops; very cute, a beautiful cathedral in the piazza, and very friendly people! It was one of the most scenic towns on the Camino.

    The area around Portomarin is very beautiful and scenic! There's a very interesting story about the current Portomarin that would make a visitor want to go around and see the city, it's historical landmarks and surrounding areas.

    The location was really great, and the hotel itself was a pleasant surprise! The staff super nicely, the common area beautifully designed and the room was a real treat! I honestly did not expect this level of hotel for my stay there, and it was above and beyond.
