A very smart hotel but good value. Very modern rooms and the food is particularly good. Had lunch when I arrived and it was very good, with local wines and just a nice vibe about the place. The owner was really amenable and it was a very pleasant experience all round.

Fantastic property! 2min from the main street under the rock. Fab views right out of the door and from a terrace. Nice and comfortable. It was cold as expected from unoccupied property in this area in December but the owner has put the heating on. He also shared useful info and instructions. It is easy to get to from the paid parking €9 per 24h for a peace of mind is not bad (and there is a toilet at the car park too) and the walk from the parking is nice in itself. The flat are super clean, comfortable and spacious. In the bathroom there is both shower and bath. Right in the city Centre but not by a nosiy street. The owner is super helpful, we even got information where to go in the city to see the best places and views. I recommend it to everyone. Really wonderful place to stay in this incredible city. 💕

The host was very nice, gave us all the information about parking, things to do, where to go.. the day before our check in. The location is right in the entrance of the town with a beautiful view from the balcony. The apartment is very clean, the beds are comfortable.

A very interesting place to visit.

A very interesting place to visit. Very busy with tourists in the day but these people disbursed at night. Moving around Setenil is a challenge, it is very hilly with lots of winding cobbled streets. We stayed overnight but on reflection we should have just gone for the day and stayed in Ronda overnight. At 19:00 there was only one bar open to eat which we thought was odd although another couple of bars opened at 20:00. The night atmosphere wasn't as good as we experienced in the day with the sun, shops and bars all open and the hustle of people mooching about. A nice place, Worth the visit

We were there on a very busy weekend and so we went to the neighbouring town of Olvera. We really enjoyed the town on Sunday night when the crowds left and I’m sure it can be quite lovely during the week.

An amazing little town the network of tiny paths where the houses seemingly built on each other. The buildings underneath the rocks are stunning. You only need a few hours here just meandering around the town.

Setenil is a unique place because of its cave houses, shops, bars and restaurants located under rock. Its a great place for a day trip or an overnight stay. Be sure to try to go during the main opening times of shops and restaurants between 10am and 8pm (for the majority). Recommend La Dehesa del Ibérico --delicious jamón ibérico and queso along with very good quality wine. Abacería El Rincón del Beso, a quirky upstairs terrace under the rock, also with very good quality wine. Many other restaurants to try, but I arrived at 7pm on a Tuesday in August and left at 9am on the Wednesday morning, so many were closing at 8pm and not open when I left.

Setenil is quite touristy, however it is a pretty town.

Setenil is quite touristy, however it is a pretty town. You do need to be happy and fit to walk up and down some steep streets. There is parking, but it eas not easy to find, despite the parking signs, and you really do not want to start driving into the town. There are several points of interest and great views, the river area is pretty and there are cafes, bars and restaurants there. The country side around Setenil is quite beautiful in May, with many varieties of wild flowers along the roadside.

To get to the Tourism Office you have to go up steep steps and fairly steep roads, which might not suit everyone, but then Setenil is built on the side of hill. The centre with the overhanging rock was a sight to see. Plenty of shops and restaurants.

It was an amazing experience to stay in this hotel. I highly recommend Casa Enrocada. The location is in the heart of Setenil, so the rock is just above your head, and nearby there are plenty of restaurants. The entire place is for your own use. There was a bedroom, a living room, a bathroom, a kitchen, and a balcony upstairs. The bedroom with a ceiling and walls made out of rock was amazing. The house is well-equipped and clean. It was a bit chilly. Self-check-in was very comfortable. I recommend it to everyone.

Roughly 10 minutes away from the "rock". The air conditioning was not working, which the Hotel informed us about, with the option to cancel the reservation cost free. But got a working fan in the room, so problem solved.

Excellent location. You MUST follow the hotels instruction on how to get there or you will get lost. It’s very much a day trippers town and in the evening most restaurants close. The hotel restaurant was open.
