The location is absolutely beautiful, the walk from the river is lovely. The rooms were super clean and furnished beautifully. I really loved the old antique fire place. We want to come back in the winter :)

The lack of a proper bathroom needs a little getting-used-to, but the sauna, the view and the cute sheep for neighbors make up for it!

    Salo is a small place with everything essential.

    Salo is a small place with everything essential. It has pharmacies, shopping malls, restaurants, a river, and a McDonald's, to begin with. It is stunning in autumn. It may not be a place with lots of entertainments, but is just suitable for a relaxing weekend trip, with affordable accommodation and restaurants, and discounts in the shopping mall.

    Salo is a small town between Turku & Helsinki.

    Salo is a small town between Turku & Helsinki. Not much to do in downtown Salo, unless you like pubs and kebab restaurants. Lots of beautiful nature nearby Salo and you can enjoy Teijo national park's offering a quick car drive away. A few privately own restaurants in town, which I definitely recommend!

    It was a final moment reservation in the evening because our planned place wasn't speaking English more than a few words, and with those few words he told us he didn't had any reservations. He offered he had place and we could stay but I didn't trust him. So we booked the final room in this hotel and it was awesome. We had a private sauna in our room. No person, system works totally fine.

    Despite the inauspicious surroundings-on an industrial estate,the accommodation exceeded our expectations. It has a fascinating history-it was the design centre for the Nokia 3310. It is owned by a philanthropic couple who developed it into a humanitarian organisation for Syrian refugees and more recently Ukrainians. And now a great hotel. There is no staff on site but works perfectly.

    The hotel is in a nice remote location. I was surprised how big the hotel was. It is great for hikers or people who want to rest near the lake. And breakfast was good and the restaurant has a really nice lake view.
