Nice, comfy and fresh hotel in the Arena building. Good central location, easy access to arena if needed. And if not, nice location still. I think the best breakfast in town, good quality, nice fresh and healthy options. Recommended :)

Close to Train station and middle of town. Very nice hotel, good breakfast, and the reception staff printed off work documents for me at various times without charge, and very promptly. Very impressed with the service. Will certainly stay again next time I am in Tampere.

We had a lovely stay at hotel Kauppi. The hotel is small and cosy, breakfast was really nice and the rooms were very clean and comfortable, and were also very well equipped (bath robes, slippers, tea, coffee, vanity kits, etc.). Location was great too - it’s in a very quiet neighbourhood. It’s a 15-20 min walk to the city centre, but there’s also a bus stop right next to the hotel that stops at the train station. The staff were really friendly and very polite, they made us feel welcome. Definitely recommend and will be happy to be back 😊

A Dynamic and Fast-Developing Industrial Town

Nestled in between Lake Näsijärvi and Lake Pyhäjärvi, Tampere has integrated its industrial past with a dynamic and fast-developing future. These changes are reflected in places such as the old Finlayson works complex which was once a mill, now redeveloped with several bars, museums, shops and cinema, all along the banks of Tammerkoski rapid.

Tampere has several attractions and landmarks including the Särkänniemi Adventure Park which features the Näsinneula tower and a revolving restaurant.     Tampere is a lovely city hotel was walking distance from train station and central to buses, trams and shopping. Hotel was clean and tidy but could do with an update in decor. Brighten/Lighten up the entry and restaurant found it a but dark and tired looking. Room was comfortable and a view to the Koski but could also do with freshening up but otherwise hotel was in good location and staff very kind and helpful. Enjoyed Tampere

    Excellent city to visit. Mode of transport is excellent many places to eat and malls to stroll. People are friendly. Stay in Marriott Hotel if can its near to the train station and groceries like S market and K market.

    Tampere is always great place to be.

    Tampere is always great place to be. Beautiful city with many activities. Our booking for stay over night were also so great. We visited in Ratina and Pyynikin Näkötorni and Lielahti 157 and also Nokia Areena

    Tampere is super beautiful town between two big lakes. There are culture destinations like museums, famous sport and entertainment hall NOKIA ARENA, amusement park Särkänniemi, for kids there are two indoor fun parks (Hop Lop and Leo Leikkimaa), bars, restaurants, two big shopping centers next to each other in the city center, carting car driving center, wonderful views and jogging places, for summer times Hatanpään arboretum (botanical garden), two big SPA's (Tampereen Kylpylä and Kylpylähotelli Nokian Eden) , downhill skiing center MUSTAVUORI, a few bowling centers with glow bowling and music... A lot of fun things to do!

    Tampere is a modern yet quiet city in Finland.

    Tampere is a modern yet quiet city in Finland. A lot of green, museums and activities. There is also a good offer of hotel and restaurants. The city is surrounded by great nature in every direction and a lake nearbye. I would advice this ton to families or to anybody who needs to recharge but prefers cities over the total wilderness. Personally, i hope to be back and continue exploring the region.

    As an old Tampere resident I enjoyed to drop by, visit Kellariteatteri, eat well and enjoy a nice stay in a good hotel. We had lunch in the old market hall and dinner in our hotel's restaurant (Solo Hotel Torni) listening a good live artist.

    Having stayed in two other Scandic hotels in other cities just beforehand, I was very disappointed by the standard of this hotel. The hotel overall seemed run down. The rooms were dated and in need of a refurb. It felt very low motel style, compared to other Scandic hotels. I would not recommend this and would not stay here again. Whilst convenient for the train station, it was on the wrong side of the tracks and was a faff to get to and from.

    The hotel is more oriented on the guests staying longer so there is a washing machine and kitchenette in the room. Room is rather small but all the facilities and furniture is good quality and new. Breakfast has everything one needs including Tampere speciality - the blood sausage. Hotel location is a bit off the city center, we walked about 30 min, but there is also a bus that stops in from of the hotel.

    That was my first Experiment in a skyscraper, but I hat a wonderful view over part of Tampere. The Appartement is new and pretty. You have everything to stay well for couple of days. It‘s near to the Central or Bus Station and close to the City Center. Easy and fast information and communication with the Host. I forgot something and he will send to me afterwards! Excellent!

    We stayed in Tampere to watch ice hockey and stay at Lapland hotel Arena. Breakfast was simply amazing. We didn't have enough time to taste everything! Location of the hotel is veery good (best restaurants are at a walking distance) and rooms with sauna are brilliant. Will definitely come back.
