This homestay afforded me with a real Fijian homestay experience and island experience. This is not a luxurious resort but real Fiji. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful and did his best to ensure I had a pleasant and delightful stay. Their cooking is authentically local Fijian. I had dinner with the host family and it offered a real cultural exchange experience. The island, Nanuya Lailai, is small and easy to walk around. The other side of the island has a beautiful and picturesque beach, perfect for a morning or sunset swim in calm waters. I really enjoyed that. All in all a real Fijian experience and the highlight of my holiday in Fiji. In hindsight, I would have preferred to spend more time here and visit fewer other islands.

Joe and is wife are amazing ! Friendly, nice and deep people if you are looking for a truely local experience that's just the right place ! The facilities are good, the food they make is really good too, the beach on this island is amazing (coral in front of the resort, blue lagoon beach not far). Also the price is really good value too, I have spend more than 1 month in the Fidgis island and this homestay was far away the best experience I neither either ad they're !

The amazing location, very friendly and personal approach of the staff and the very comfortable and stylish decorated apartment. The welcome and farewell songs were the icing on the cake and really enjoyed the trip to the Blue Lagoon and positively surprised to have a massage included. Also liked being picked-up by small boat from the ferry.

Long Beach is located in Matacawalevu and is one of the best place I have visited so far! The family is lovely and food delicious. Bungalow just few steps from the beach! Very close to Blue lagoon for a day trip or stop at the minimarket.

Can’t describe in enough words the hospitality, location, services and ambience this place has to offer. Home away from home is the feeling you get upon meeting any member of the staff. The food is just amazing, if I can describe it in minimum words possible. All in all, this place is irreplaceable. We started in Blue Lagoon resort as well right next to it, and truth be told, it is in no match to the Oarsman’s! Go for it and treat your mind, body and belly with an absolute feast! Lots of love @Oarsman’s staff and people Special mention to Ben for taking efforts, time and patience to teach me how to swim! Would’ve loved to stay here longer and get in more sessions!! The property it’s in a very nice place, chill and relaxed environments. They have good accommodations but they need improvements on the cabins… it’s handle for a very nice and friendly family. The food it’s nice. Perfect if you want to experiment local life, enjoy and relax.

Nabua Lodge is a slice of paradise. We absolutely loved our stay. The staff are wonderful. We loved the honesty book where you can write down any drinks or snack you have. There are great walks along the ridge and shoreline and the beach in front of the lodge is a great place to chill. We would definitely recommend Nabua Lodge

It was an amazing experience for our family! The location and the beach and bay are simply stunning. The village people are very welcoming and super nice. Lots of „Bula!“ wherever you see someone. The kids a curious and happy to show you around. The water is superb for swimming and playing around in. We loved the different dog characters hanging out at the beach - all very friendly. You pay your „entrance“ fee and that‘s it, you are guests of the community instead of feeling like customers - the concept works really well and seems fair for everyone. It is simple, as that‘s what village life in the Yasawas is, but if you‘re somewhat open minded and up for trading some less comfort for having a unique and closer-to-authentic experience then this is for you. The hike up to the ridgeline in the early morning was fantastic. Amazing views and some village children and dogs as good company. We just loved it!
