The bungalows are lovely, clean and comfortable. The beach is heaven on earth and you can swim in low and high tide. The food is wonderful and it changes everyday. But, without a doubt, the best part was the people! They are like they all are your mother. The most nice, welcoming, thoughtful and caring people in the world. It was a perfect vacation.

Really friendly staff, plenty of activities. There could be a half board option, as three big meals per day is way too much. The food was really good though, better than Octopus resort, but the beach on Octopus is nicer. The small hike up the hill is very nice and the cave trip is a definite must!!

Everything was perfect, food and service, the island was peaceful, the room was big and comfortable, I enjoyed my stay here.

Unbelievably beautiful island and facilities. We felt so well looked after with so much attention to detail and a special breakfast for our anniversary. Our stay at Long Beach Resort was exceptional. The staff was incredibly nice and shared with enthusiasm their culture with us. They were always more than happy to help with any requests we had as well as spend time with the guests, creating a genuine connection with everyone. We truly felt on vacation on this beautiful island, the food was very good and the activities entertaining. The warmth and hospitality of the staff made our time on this beautiful island truly unforgettable. For those seeking an authentic Fijian experience, I wholeheartedly recommend Long Beach Resort. It's a perfect blend of traditional Fijian style, warm hospitality, delicious cuisine, and engaging activities. Thank you again to the lovely staff!

Beautiful location right on the beach - on the first day we had the beach to ourselves which was great. One of the volunteers (Sefo) really made our stay by teaching us about Fijian culture and also running a Kava ceremony, sharing fresh coconuts with us and arranging a bonfire on the beach.

This village home-stay was a joy and a privilege to experience, with true Fijian heart felt hospitality. The people are absolutely lovely here. You got to have a meal in a different home every day and meet the families. They will treat you with utmost respect so prefer to sit with you while you eat and then they eat later. It is their way of caring and respecting you so please dont feel it as rejection. The food was fantastically fresh and traditional with fresh fish, crab and locally sourced and grown fruit and veges. Life is simple and uncomplicated. Church is a big part of life here and at 6am and 6pm the huge log drum was used to summon parishioners.The singing was absolutely beautiful. The community hall got lot of use with meetings, cava ceremonies and gatherings. It was wonderful to see the local children arrive home from school in a small boat on Friday. Once they are over 9yrs they board at another location on the island to attend school together and come home every weekend to eagerly awaiting parents. The junior school in the village is very cute and the children love interaction. Given the true traditional nature of this unspoiled village you must keep to the traditions and not wear hats in the village and ladies must wear a sarong so no shorts, leggings or trousers. Drinking water is free and there are mosquito nets although I didnt experience any mosquitoes. No shop here but you can charge your phone. If you can bring any medical supplies such iodine, bandages, bandaids and dressings please do as the local health centre is a boat trip away and supplies can be limited for them. They will soo very much appreciate your kindness. Please do not bring plastics as they cannot be recycled. Any supplies for the school will also be gratefully received. Get cava for the chief if you can as this a a traditional gift. The best is the very long thick rooted type from Nandi market but it is pricey. Otherwise just bring a big smile :0)

We fell in love with Nabua Lodge! So beautiful place, delicous food, amazing trip to Blue Lagoon. Friendly and helpful staff. The room was very very clean and cozy. Everything together made our stay there the best stay. Nabua Lodge definitely must be on your “accommodation list”! Thank you for everything.

Meeting the locals, seeing the area by boat, visiting the caves, kids favourite beach

After poor village stay on neighbouring island, Coralview Island Resort was a dream come true, big relief. Very friendly and most helpful staff. Lots of complimentary kayak paddles, stunning water colours across the reefs and lagoons.
