Very high quality rooms and facilities. Large room with balcony and inside sitting area. The hotel staff were all lovely and chatty. They arranged adjacent rooms for me & my wife and my daughter & son - great for a family break. Great full bath in both ensuites. Plush nightgowns. Fridge. Coffe maker. Great wifi. Quiet town but very close (30 mins) to Geneva.

I booked the hotel as a stopover on the way to Chamonix (and also as a cheap alternative as I didn't want to spend 200+ for one night). The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, the receptionist was very nice as well. For the price it's unbeatable if you are just looking for a place to spend the night in.

French prices! French food is better than Swiss. Close to Geneva city centre + very short trip on tram. Tram stop outside the hotel's front door is convenient. Great local shops, very safe area, very friendly local people.

Ambilly / Annemasse in itself is not worth visiting.

Ambilly / Annemasse in itself is not worth visiting. But it is a great starting point to take the tram 17 to Geneva, or the car to Annecy / Mont Blanc / Evian le Bains / Montreux, Aosta daytrips.

Hotel is located far from everything and anything.

Hotel is located far from everything and anything. It's only tram 17 which can take you outside the area for different connections. The hotel is affordable financially but it needs serious upgrades. Walls fixed and painted. Cheap,old curtain removed and adding sheds. Big windows in full sun for hours. The room was hot. A/C was working using a small,old box. Toilet which was in a separate room and the sink had old, charcoal stains. Everything I paid like city taxes, transit tickets, food was in euros. Breakfast was horrible. Same two kinds of cut meats and cheese, only one kind of milk, no vegetables, no fruits. Few green apples. Fresh orange juice. Two kind of breah, same buns every morning. TV had few channels. No sport channels. Dissapointing do not watch Euro soccer games. Wifi was discontinuing almost every hour, and it needed to reconnect it.

Ideal if you need to take care of business in Geneva but want to avoid the expensive hotel prices there. The Ibis Styles in Annemasse is easily accessible from Geneva by public transport (cross-border tram directly to/from Geneva).

Poor service; they only speak French, no English or German,...

Poor service; they only speak French, no English or German, and leave you standing outside the door after 6 PM without offering any help. The code handover for the apartment only takes place about two hours beforehand, which you can't find out via mobile phone, or rather, it has to be done by someone who knows the system very well.

Nice for a pit stop while passing through.

Nice for a pit stop while passing through. You can take a cable car up the mountain, but we didn't go. It's maybe a 15-minute drive from the hotel. The view must be spectacular.

Nothing! I reached the property at night and didn’t receive the access code to the building! Kept on ringing the owner who never picked up! I stayed in the middle of the street for over an hour with my children and booked a hotel nearby instead !!!!

The staff were excellent and very helpful. The hotel is located right next to a tram station that will take you to Geneva central (Bel air stop) in around 20 mins. The complimentary breakfast was very nice and there was a lot to choose from.
