Located between the French cities of Nice and Cannes, idyllic Antibes is a coastal town on the Mediterranean Côte d'Azur. With more than 40 sandy and rocky beaches, this destination is the place where the popular James Bond movie ‘Never Say Never Again’ was filmed.

Antibes is a good home base for the French Riveria.
Antibes is a good home base for the French Riveria. Not as busy as Nice or Cannes which is literally a stones throw away, but takes 30 minutes or more by car due to traffic. Antibes is between the two. Even though we had a car, it was much easier, and cheaper, to take the bus and train to destinations around the French RIveria. Antibes has a great Old Towne which we stayed in, with the Ramparts/boardwalk/Promonade a highlight. The beach by the port was a delight.Guest review byJulieUnited States - 8.0

Antibes is a lovely town with a lot to explore. The small narrow streets in the old town are wonderful and you never know what’s around the next corner. We loved wandering the old town and finding all of the lovely restaurants, squares and gelaterias! Antibes is such a great people watching city, with incredible views of the water!
