It is a nice town with a beautiful beach.
It is a nice town with a beautiful beach. It has a very relaxing and positive feel to it. Most of the tourists are French families. I found locals to be welcoming. We really enjoyed taking the tour train around the area and had fun. Be sure to visit the beautiful town centre. We visited in October, the beach and port were lovely. Nearly every thing was closed by this time. During the summer we could see that it would be a really fun place to be with beautiful beaches, lively bars and restaurants, nightlife, watersports and water parks. Most things were great, the staff, the location, the facilities, the price. It is very close to the beach and the local supermarkets. We made a day trip to Spain, which is also very close by and easy to do from this location. A fantastic area of Perpignan to visit & stay lovely family atmosphere and very busy for beginning of July, there is much to see and do for all ages with numerous day and nightime activities available. There is a small train running into the centre of Argeles day and night in the surrounding area, there is a funfair with many rides. The room has a terrace but no sea view but as we were only there for one night it didn’t bother us. The room itself was good. Air con that worked perfectly and noiselessly, the bed was huge and very comfortable. We had an excellent dinner in the restaurant facing the beach. Staff are friendly and efficient.
