The staff were all very kind and check in was easy. The room was very comfortable and a good size. Comfortable beds, decent AC (although maybe not strong enough for 30C+), and obviously a great pool and sauna.

The owners were absolutely superb. The quality of the finishings were top drawer. We got a warm welcome, that was sincere and caring. There was a decent selection of teas, and the room was immaculate, as was the bathroom. The dog was also brilliant: he’s almost like a special needs dog and senses when you need your own space. The building is stunning and some of the areas as well so worth a visit nearby. Really enjoyed it here.

Madame was a star hostess and very welcoming, staying up late for us as our ferry had been delayed by a few hours. Her breakfast was lovely and she is the consumate hostess. The location is quite rural and although we only stayed for one night, we would have liked to have stayed longer. The accommodations are quite quirky, but clean and we loved sharing breakfast with other guests at one long table.
