Beautiful old French building. Room was perfect, lovely shower and a nice spacious balcony. Air con was good too as it was quite hot outside when we stayed. Overall very comfortable.

Not only did we receive a warm welcome when we arrived but our dog did too! Our room had plenty of space to relax comfortably and a terrace with an ocean view. We loved the decor and vibe of Le Garage but even more that the staff excelled in hospitality. We will return and allow more time to enjoy the spa! Merci Le Garage! 🇫🇷

We loved our stay! The loveliest staff, the most comfortable beds and pillows of our entire trip. The design of the room was beautiful. The little courtyard garden was so sweet. Loved all the thoughtful touches throughout, every guest touch point had been thought of, and as a designer and host of holiday properties, I really valued all of those touches. The breakfast was so nice too and we would definitely stay again if we return to Biarritz!!

    Plenty of places to visit choice of restaurants and bars, transport system good plus great value. We could have used a bus from airport and change in Biarritz to our appartment location sourcing that info easily would be a benefit

    Biarritz is an absolute treasure of a place to visit.

    Biarritz is an absolute treasure of a place to visit. It has so much on offer and if you like surfing, there are multiple places to hire boards and wetsuits as well as a large number of surf schools. We LOVED the swimming beach too and the aquarium. There are many food options for different budgets. As the weather was so nice, we got take away food most evenings and sat on the beach, watching the sun set. There are many restaurants and the brunch scene is big with lots of pretty places to choose from, I highly recommend Les Halles covered market and the little train to get a feel for where everything is. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and we are already planning our return trip!

    We drove to Biarritz and is very complicated during the summer as many central roads are pedestrianised and you are forbidden to drive down. There are many central car parks. Highly recommend visiting the sea front. Restaurants were very good and the Food Hall market is the place to go for breakfast and shopping.

    A popular resort if you're keen on surfing and body-boarding, but equally enjoyable if you enjoy being near the sea. The temperature in early August was mid to high 20s (centigrade), so ideal for me. Many of the restaurants cater to the French cuisine, as expected, although there are some alternatives if you take the time to look. Some very picturesque scenery and plenty of nice places to take a dip in the sea with water temperature being not too cold ( quite a bit warmer than the UK). The area caters well for young families, with surf school and creche on Grand Plage.

    Lovely seaside town, which is particularly great to visit outside of peak season. Lots of surfers, but there's plenty to do for non-surfers, too. Try the local cuisine, which is widely available in the town market, and restaurants have a high standard for affordable fare.

    Super for 4 days.

    Super for 4 days. Stayed at Victoria Surf Residence, sea view, looking out over La Grande Plage. Very central location, close to shops and Fisherman's Port with lovely restaurants. Strongly recommend 'Chez Albert' (Paella was particularly good) and La Corsaire. In the centre Les Halles (10 mins walk) has fantastic Fishmongers who serve Oysters and other shellfish that can be eaten in an upstairs seating area. 6 Oysters and a glass of wine 8.50 euros? Biarritz, although a city by the sea, is very picturesque with lovely beaches and good surf.

    The rooms and hotel were always clean and tidy, and the rooms were cleaned daily. The location is perfect for walking everywhere you need to go. The best part about our stay was the lady at the front desk. Throughout our stay, she gave numerous suggestions of places to eat and visit and the best times to do these. Every suggestion was great and made our time in Biarritz.

    Great stay - the room is big enough to comfortably stay. The best is how close the hotel is to the beach, which is max 10min by foot. And even though there is no parking at the hotel itself, the hotel has provided us with a parking card for an underground car park 200m away at very fair conditions for Biarritz. Highly recommended

    I had a great stay at la Maison du Lierre ! Team is super friendly, they gave me a lot of advices to visit the beautiful city that Biarritz is. My room was cosy (balcony with garden view) and super clean, + the location is the best. I’ll definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family. Thank you la Maison du Lierre
