Beautiful surroundings. Convenient location within walking distance to the Abbey. Friendly staff. Very nice and large room. Jacuzzi in the room was welcome after a day's cycling. Breakfast was a great selection of breads, croissants, charcuterie, cheese, fruit, yoghurt and a lovely local speciality which was like a caramelised rice pudding.

Excellent Château! Very beautiful from outside and inside! Room and spacious and clean. Good materials used in interior! We had dinner in the restaurant at the Château and it was wonderful! Also territory of Château is big and we had a nice walk and enjoyed beautiful surroundings. Parking is free and there are 4 places for charging electric cars! Service was great and personnel was very friendly and pleasant! Really happy with our stay!

The view is truly magnificent, it almost takes your breath away. The grounds are vast and the room was spacious and well decorated. The staff were lovely and breakfast on the terrace was just beautiful. We enjoyed our dinner in the restaurant. The pictures on booking.com don’t do it justice. We also liked the pool table and chess set.

    Very easy to get to off the A28.

    Very easy to get to off the A28. Town within walking distance of the hotel. There were a couple of friendly bars open on the main road. Usual general shops and bakery. Not many places to eat! Couple of expensive retaurants. Couple of Japanese resaurants, one Pizza restaurant that we ate at and was very good, a couple of Pizza takeaway places, we ate at one, they were very friendly and helpfull. All within walking distance.

    Location was excellent for charging up our electric car and visiting the large supermarket, however the hotel is in the middle of an industrial/ out of town shopping centre. Breakfast is help yourself basic continental. The room was very clean and comfortable bedding with extra pillows/ blankets. The bedroom has a heater but the bathroom does not.

    The hotel is situated in a convenient location close to the motorway. The rooms are a good size and very clean with a comfy bed. There are large grassed areas in the hotel grounds which are ideal if you are travelling with dogs. The car park is fully enclosed and very secure giving peace of mind.

    Stayed here in April, this was our second visit. This hotel is a must for travellers , not far off Motorway, Petrol pumps, car wash &Supermarket 2 mins away. The Staff all very polite and accommodating .We will be back. We have two dogs and ther is a walk around the hotel&Pond
