I liked the rooms (we booked 3 rooms), the breakfast, the restaurant, the view from the balcons, the service attitude at the receptio, and most of all - the good will and the efforts to please us at the restaurant during dinner . We ate 3 dinners at the restaurant (5 adults, my daughter is vegan, and 2 children), the food was tasty, and the waiters did their best to please us all.

    Bouyon is a small French village, perched high on the side...

    Bouyon is a small French village, perched high on the side of a hill overlooking the Var valley. 30km from Nice, 16km up a long, winding road from the valley keeps this out of the way of tourist traffic. Maison Barnoin is an old building, but solidly built, modernised as necessary. That doesn't include lifts - there are a lot of steps. Room was comfortable, old but solid furniture. It shared a shower/toilet with one other room; the bathroom was huge (for a bathroom) being a converted bedroom. Free parking was available in several public areas 70 - 200m from Maison Barnoin.
