We did the same thing last year and came back because the hotel is lovely and comfortable and a good place to stop after a long drive. The family room was lovely and cosy, the sofa bed was all made up for the kids and we were very pleased with our room overall. Also the restaurant is lovely, the kids options are great, the champagne is great! And the breakfast is wonderful.
