Fantastic old house, private car park for our motorbikes, very helpful and friendly owner. What a fantastic town as well.... make sure you walk up to the castle for spectacular views!

So, this was my first time staying in a bed and breakfast abroad; and honestly, I had a lovely time. They give you key and beeper access to the gate and house; so you can come and go as you please. The breakfasts are light but copious. You also have access to the kitchen if you’d like to store anything in the fridge or even cook. The hosts were delightful. They’re a wealth of knowledge for cultural aspects of the region and they were more than willing to escort me on quick field trips to see some of the local nearby sites.

Absolutely wonderful!! Excellent location, super clean, beautifully presented with the highest level of decor, great value for money. I can’t recommend enough. A great find for us on our 2nd stay in Chauvigny. Host was great, communication excellent and friendly with clear instructions throughout.

Lovely, large, cool property. Despite us arriving early on a very hot day the owner was happy to let us in which was much appreciated. We were only staying one night but the gite is very well equipped for those wishing to stay longer. The castle & town centre are very close by & there are cafes close by to get breakfast.

    Absolute gem - we loved it. The location is in the old, largely traffic-free mediaeval area of Chauvigny, with a nice and quiet restaurant below the bedroom window which looked straight onto the small theatre and wonderful Romanesque church. The room is quite small but had had been very cleverly designed so that we didn't feel the lack of space. Access instructions were sent and easily followed. It is quaint and fabulous - a high point of our visit to France.

    The Wild Seeds is a magical place just outside Chauvigny which is a lovely medieval town. Margot is the kindest host, she has a beautiful personality and adorable cats! We sat out on the loungers in the evening underneath the sky, enjoying the tranquility. The bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately we couldn’t stay longer.

    Stayed here with a group of motorcycle friends. We were made welcome from the start, shown the secure car park and asked if we required dinner, which we didn’t. The hotel is well located, clean and well equipped. Breakfast was good. Would stay again.

    Great value hotel which was a little like going back in time but in a good way with free parking and close to the medieval centre, exceptional 3 course set meal for 15 euros and a great breakfast.
