The rooms are really beautiful, big and clean. The host Patricia is very welcoming and kind. In the mornings she takes care of a delicious breakfast. Located in a lovely village, closeby restaurants, shops, (brocante check for the dates) and a beautiful waterfall on 8 min by car.

The Chambre de Hote is run by two sisters who are excellent hosts. The 5 rooms available are in a separate building to the owners accommodation which gives full freedom for coming and going without any problems. The continental breakfast offers a wide range of options with many different home made preserves as well as cereals. Baguettes are freshly provided from the local boulangerie. To maintain the peaceful ambiance there are no TVs in the rooms which also ensures a quiet room. Breakfast can be taken outdoors where there are a variety of quirky old items adorning the area. The external area is slightly rustic in comparison to the bedroom we had which was clean, spacious and comfortable There are an excellent range of walks straight from the doorway and a pilgrims trail runs close by. Cotignac, the local village, can be walked largely or entirely on peaceful paths and minor quiet roads but you will have to accept an uphill return from the village. Ample parking on the property is available. If you like this description then it is the place for you. We thoroughly enjoyed our six night stay.

Stunning, clean, and modern. This was the perfect little hideaway, and the jacuzzi/bath/batcave downstairs was just the most relaxing and gorgeous space. Less than a minute’s walk to the heart of Cotignac’s lovely restaurants and bars. The apartment comes with Tassimo pod machine and a really good hairdryer. The air con is excellent, I was even a bit chilly at one point and had to turn it down. It’s small but perfect for a couple or individual. Communication from the host was excellent, including detailed instructions on how to find the door which is a little off the beaten track. Would stay here again! 10/10

The location was amazing - just minutes from the sites and the down town but also nestled away for privacy and quiet. The room and facilities were FIRST CLASS and everything is new. I enjoyed a late evening swim in the pool and the host gave me an awesome recommendation for dinner (Picotte - fantastic!!). My only regret was not having more time there. I would have loved to use the grill or open a nice bottle of wine to enjoy in the outdoor area. I would highly recommend this place -- 1st class, comfy room, great service and perfect location

The apartment was very spacious and had private outdoor space and access to the pool. Eric and Brenda were extremely welcoming, gave us excellent advice about the local area (including shops, restaurants, running routes etc) and they were always available if we had any questions. The apartment was finished to a high standard, was very clean and had everything we needed to have a relaxing stay in Cotignac. The apartment is well located, it is very quiet, has all the essentials within less than 5 minutes of driving, it is surrounded by various vineyards, and it is easy to access Cotignac with a car.

    The city may semble what Aix-en-Provence was 50 years ago. With the real Provence flair. And the unique Shrine of St. Joseph, with a recognized apparition in 1660. There is another important Shrine I didn’t have the opportunity to visit: Notre Dame de Grace. I should have planned 2 entire days for this city.

    Cotignac is a gem in the back country.

    Cotignac is a gem in the back country. Close to many interesting places, the village itself is captivating. From walking the Main Street Cours Gambetta to venturing up the cliff faces to see the troglodyte caves, there is so much to do. One of the highlights was the sacred trinity church on the top of the hill. But the best part about the town was the delightful restaurants and staff. A wonderful place.

    The property is very pretty and situated just outside of Cotignac. You definitely need a car to stay. The breakfast is lovely and the owners are so friendly and helpful. We had a lovely time and I recommend if you're looking for a comfortable relaxing stay. I would definitely stay here again :)

    Tucked away on a hill with a very nice view of the surrounding area, very private and remote, great if you want a relaxing getaway. It is still only a 20 minute walk downhill to Cotignac village. The hosts were very nice and their cat even came to say hi and spend some time with me.

    A wonderful warm welcome from Jean-Claude and Yannick. We stayed in the cottage: well equipped, tastefully decorated, a calm oasis in a Provencal olive grove. Ideally situated to the beautiful village of Cotignac. Highly recommend.
