I loved the situation, peaceful. The accommodation was excellent, bathrooms functioning brilliantly, beds really comfortable. Outside furniture outside our room and in the garden. Very relaxing. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, it was a fabulous building and there was some great places locally to visit. The breakfast was good, but thought it was quite expensive at €16 each. We did have an issue with one of the bar staff who got very rude with us. We were just finishing our drinks and were told to leave the bar just before 11 and she turn the lights out whilst we were in there, which I don’t think it’s very professional.Guest review byGerard - 10.0

Excellent hotel in the heart of the British and Canadian areas of the D-Day landings. Set in a small village in beautiful surroundings, the hotel is very peaceful. It has a wide variety of accommodation within the hotel plus the proprietor owns other holiday accommodation nearby. Own transport is best (there is plenty of free parking) as public transport in the village is limited. Bad start when you have booked, however, it turned out to be a very nice small room with facilities. It had a kitchen and a lounge are and was very quiet, it opened onto a large garden, perfect for our dog. However, we were told it was 100 metres from hotel but much further so not suitable for elderly or infirm visitors. Room was superb.Guest review bySueFrance
