accommodation as I expected and I got it. nice big clean bathroom huge and unnecessarily big :-) we counted on a washing machine but we didn't have it in the apartment, but maybe some apartments have it, I don't know. Our apartment didn't even have a freezer in the fridge so we didn't count on it, luckily the neighbors next door did, and luckily they were willing to let us have it. So everything turned out great, thank you :-)

In a pretty village. Easily accessible to restaurants/bars etc. The owner was there to meet us when we arrived and directed us to a parking space. She helped with luggage and was very welcoming. Great breakfast in the morning. Plenty of choice.

The room was spacious, very clean and designed in fresh colours with a very nice view - and was very quiet during night time. The breakfast was also served in the room on request. The café served a nice choice of small meals and delicious desserts and and a very good choice of beverages in the evening.

We loved the village in this beautiful area and the atmosphere of this little hotel was great. The owner is passionate about caring for his guests and he had plenty of time to chat with everyone, providing local knowledge and useful recommendations. The rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Even our dog felt at home!

Wonderful hotel surrounded by a beautiful garden. The rooms are spacious and nicely designed. The gourmet restaurant and bistro serve tasty local dishes. They have their own vegetable garden and chicken coop. There were a variety of fresh fruits for breakfast. The outdoor swimming pool area is pristine and very nicely designed. There is also an indoor gym. Last but not least, the service is outstanding, the staff is smiling and eager to be of help.

    This is a small town, but I found plenty of shops and restaurants. I did take day trips each day to other towns, and I think if I have stayed in Espelette for two full days without leaving, I would have been a bit bored. That said, it was the best town to stay in, amenity- and location-wise. I'd definitely stay here again when I'm in the region.

    Wonderful house with spacious room, wonderful garden. Very quiet surroundings, perfect to relax on the terrace. Location is perfect to explore the Pays Basque. Breakfast was very good and a lot. The hosts are very friendly and provided lots of useful information on restaurants and activities. You can walk from the house to Espelette where you can find restaurants and bars. We liked this a lot! Merci beaucoup!

    Interesting guest house property very central to Espelette on foot, including the excellent outdoor weekly market. Genial and friendly lady host and her son who were very helpful and informative. Comfortable room on the second floor, continental type breakfast was good and the property was in a great location for exploring the Basque Pyrenees region.
